Absolutely terrible place for children. We arrived the 30 minutes early we were instructed to. The waiting area was not child friendly and completely open to the entire hospital. They only had one small bead maze for children to play with. All of the chairs were taken so we had to stand the 40 plus minutes for our wait. When we finally were taken to our room, it was so small not even an exam table would fit. There were no toys, books, or art work to look at. My 2 year old was restless and agitated. I don't blame her. Despite absolutely loving the doctors and never once having a problem being examined. She refused to participate. Again, I don't blame her. We waited a year for our appointment, I came prepared with sleep logs, written documentation and past lab results. The majority of the appointment was spent with a fellow who asked us the same questions we filled out prior on the intake form. She then proceeded to "diagnose" my child with some issue. Which was completely inaccurate. Overall, it was a compete waste of my time and money. There is no way this place should have anything to do with caring for children. Go to...
Read moreI had been twice for my studies and the techs that got me ready were wonderful, kind and caring. Omg and the bed? It was absolutely more comfortable than my old bed…..it had your own bathroom to get ready for bed…I was so amazed because a few yrs prior I had one and it was so awful….it WAS A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL and you had to sleep on the hospital cart as I called it…sooo uncomfortable And he tech was not friendly….never talke to me but once to tell me to not sleep on my side…and the Dr. that was head of the Dept. was also not friendly. I was told to come bacK..when I did he asked why are you here lolol….? Anyway my answer was BECAUSE YOU ROLD ME TO. SO WHEN I went with OHSU, I was dreading it due to the other Hospital….Always go to OHSU…they are absolutely the best of the best. I will never go any place else...
Read moreI'm not sure what's up with this program, but I guarantee you they will pressure you to get a C-PAP machine regardless of the findings.... At home sleep studies are far less perfect, than what was once offered. I wish the professionals in the program would listen more to the patient client rather than assume C-PAP is the only option.. the inability to fall asleep is not sleep Apnea therfore the uncomfortable mask will likely do little to the clients inability to fall asleep. The other big red flag here were the sleep Apnea devices laying around, and it being discussed before the actual sleep study! I knew the results before the study began, felt like a scam. The only other advice I can offer is to incist on an overnight study, do not let yourself get talked into the...
