St. Barbra permanently closed to give way to this lovely bakery @the footnote OHSU/Vetrans hill in downtown PDX.

The ube cookies are THE BOMB appropriately colored in Purple for my Alma mater UofP.

Mike, the owner and lead servant, was very kind to have given me 50th birthday cookies for free to celebrate.

The “baked” pork humbow was phenomenal. (No pic as I hungrily devoured it!)

If only I can not eat all 4 of these very yummy cookies in one day. That will be a trick to avoid the sugar in these tasty treats.

Filipino bakeries are rare to find, so discovering this little gem in Portland was such a treat! The shop may be small, but the selection is packed with delicious, freshly made pastries. We couldn’t resist and ended up taking home quite a few since it’s about an hour from us.

I make my way from Vancouver to get their Pan de sal for family and friends. They have other good treats too, I typically get a little snack when I go in for myself.
