I left in tears on my 2nd visit after being interrogated like a felon for not providing 100% disclosure. I dearly hope that noone with a tender heart passes thru these doors. I explained that yes, in fact, I don't like to 100% disclose my sensitive past on email I cast about looking for services and of course as I learn what kind of person I'm dealing with, I prefer clarify later. She didn't care and admitted that she already decided she didn't want to see me before I came, but that doesn't qualify for a refund despite fact this was 10min in...but I don't even care about the cash. What matters is I don't want see anyone go thru what I went thru. They will run into others like me and post as LGBT accepting, but trust me when I say if you fall into the latter two letters of that acronym this place will only hurt you. All I wanted was someone to be a positive influence for me during a trail I was beginning and even at $70 an hour, you can't pay some hateful people to be nice to you. There are other providers, many more in PDX that ARE positive people and understand you may bend the facts a bit in an introductory email about you history until you find they are not judgemental and going to hurt you. Any counselor with a heart will assure you you can trust them with the gory details and ask in a positive affirming way if, now that you've met, if you want to clarify some personal information. But, sitting with a clipboard and trying dig out minor inconsistencies to make you feel shameful while taking your cash and directing your tear stained eyes to the street. Please don't put your heart out there to be stepped on by these wolves in sheep's clothing, if you want judgement and guilt this is the place. If you want open -hearted understanding and empathy look elsewhere, if you want be pushed a little closer to black suicidal depression, this may be the last place you visit before your found in a bathtub. Trust me, your life may...

I'm very happy that I chose to go here. Check their website. I don't feel comfortable elaborating any further... but I did want to do them a solid by stating just how amazing this group is and the people...

We go as a family but I know that kids, couples and individuals are clients there also. The waiting room is tiny and I feel a little squishy in there but it's never for more than 5 minutes and...
