I started coming here for all my car needs after they were highly recommended by multiple coworkers. They are honest, reasonable, and good mechanics!
I had warning lights coming on my Jeep’s dash that even the dealership couldn’t figure out. This placed solved the problem quickly! Without prompting, they even provided me with a part number I needed that Jeep no longer makes so that I could purchase it online without their markup!! They have also given me realistic expectations of what kind of car problems need to be fixed immediately vs what can wait and how things could worsen without intervention. I have never felt pressured by them and they have even reasonably dissuaded me from doing unnecessary repairs on my car that I suggested.
There was a small mishap one time when my car came in for an oil change and I called just to let them know what happened. They took full responsibility, apologized for it without any excuses, refunded my money, AND immediately fixed a minor follow up issue from it without charge. Any other place would’ve told me to kick rocks, but Troy made the situation right and has gained a customer for life. I highly recommend St John’s...
Read moreAbsolutely the best, no doubt about it! Before St John's Auto, I'd taken my '96 Suburban to four different mechanics for a coolant leak, and I got BS responses ranging from "don't worry about it it's not a real issue" to having unrelated parts replaced without consulting me and then charging me for it! When I took the truck to St John's Auto, all my problems were solved! There was no BS. Troy listened to me when I told him what I thought the problem was, actually opened up the engine to make an accurate diagnosis, followed up with me and made sure the fix was what I wanted, then he did it! His team went the extra mile and showed me the leaking intake manifold (it's a miracle the truck was even running, hah) and Troy fixed a broken hose free of charge. I couldn't be happier with the truck now ready for a cross-country trip. These guys care about your vehicle and your wallet as much as you do. And the amount of respect and kindness they show you is unmatched in the industry. Thanks, St...
Read moreHands down this is the place to go. Had family who referred us and now I understand why.
My wife and I, like many people, avoid going to mechanics to save money. We took our Pontiac in because we thought we were in need of new brakes and belts. We also asked them to look at a window issue and for any other maintenance items that we should have done to prolong the life of the car.
We made an appointment and when all was said and done, nothing needed to be done! I've always felt vulnerable bringing in cars to mechanics because I know so little that it'd be easy for them to take advantage. But the folks looked everything over and were honest about not needing anything to be done. I've never heard of a mechanic doing this before!
As I said before, my family has taken their cars to this place and have been raving about it. Now I will be too.
They are cheap, honest, and good at what they do----the best combinations of any...
