I am simply “over the top” thrilled with my new Fjord Sandel colored genuine leather recliner. It arrived on the scheduled day, came very well packaged AND ALREADY PROFESSIONALLY ASSEMBLED! Just lift it out of the box. There is not a scratch on it! There is no foul odor. Everything works perfectly & is it ever comfy! All it needs is to be “broken in”, & I can surely handle that! I called the Back Store because I ordered it through Amazon & they didn’t know much about the item, but it was shipped directly from The Back Store in San Diego. I took a chance & called The Back Store & spoke with Kyle & he answered every question/ concern that I had. He was very knowledgeable, professional, patient & kind. He even e-mailed me a picture of the chair color as I was concerned about that. It is exactly what I wanted. The workings of the chair are simple...a knob to recline & it swivels! I don’t know what it is, but the way this recliner is made, it feels like every part of my body is supported. The ottoman is included & is shaped in a way that there is no pressure on my knees or ankles. I have had back surgery, & this is the ONLY chair/recliner that does not hurt or put pressure on my lumbar spine or hips. The arm rests are roomy & at a perfect angle & my head is supported well, also. Sitting in this recliner is very therapeutic for me. It seems like a recliner that you would find in a high end spa. If you are having trouble making a decision about purchasing this recliner like I was, don’t be! It is worth every penny. I’ll try to post a picture later if I am able to. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Tammy & The Back Store. Ever since sitting in a Stressless chair in an Airbnb 5 years ago, I’ve been dreaming about owning one. These chairs and couches are ergonomic yet beautifully designed. When my husband gave me the ok time buy a sectional Stressless couch. These are investment furniture pieces!

I started my search online living in Los Angeles. I called at least 6 other stores to find customer service lacking or used car sales type tactics. I called The Back Store and Tammy answered all the way in San Diego. What an angel she is!

Tammy was patient, thorough and cared to get me exactly what I was looking for. She took the time to research answers to every question I had. Let me tell you I had a LOT of questions. Tammy even called the manufacturer to see if there were any clearance item matching my order to get the cost down. While they did not she worked with her manager to throw in a few extra items (side tables) for free.

We placed the order and she stayed in constant communication with me until we received the beautiful couch, coffee table and side tables.

Tammy and I became friends and she even sent me a box filled to the rim with baby items for our newborn! Who does this? I have yet to meet Tammy in person but she will be a friend for life.

I highly recommend The Back Store and Tammy! I will go to her for ALL of my furniture needs...

I saw some bad reviews on the BackStore located in Poway, CA, so I decided to go there and form my own opinion. I was looking for a smaller recliner that had good neck and lumbar support, but wouldn’t break the bank. Orlis did a great job of showing me all the recliners that were smaller and gave me information on each chair I tried out. I left the store with a chair in mind, but I wanted to check out other stores before I commented. I went to Jerome’s, laz boy and several other furniture stores. There were several recliners I liked, but no one could beat the price, quality or match the extras of the chair at their Poway store. All the other stores wanted extra for rocking, swivel and lumbar support. ALSO, no one else could match their warranty on the electronics. 10 years instead of 3 everywhere else. went back to the Poway store and I got another $100 off and I bought the recliner. It was delivered for FREE the next day. I asked about the bad reviews and I was not surprised to hear the reviews are all during COVID. This was due to not being able to find employees during COVID and it also affected suppliers. I had a very good experience with this business and I recommend them. There warehouse/business is large and carried quality furniture at excellent prices, including IMG Scandinavian recliners, chairs and couches. That’s what I bought! I’ll be back for...
