Giant New York Pizza — Restaurant in Poway

Honestly, I cannot really give it 5 stars yet, technically, because I’ve never been here. 😝 I’m hoping to grab a slice tonight! Can someone please tell me if the slices are fresh? I went to a different NY pizza place a few moths ago, and it was SOOOOO gross! I’m hoping it’s fresh and I can keep these stars. Based on other reviews, I’m excited to give them a shot. Thank you!

EDIT: I had to change the stars to 1/5. While the staff was super nice, no one asked us how our food was during/after we ate. My cheese slice was over-cooked and a bit gross. When I eat pizza, I want the cheese to be ooey gooey. Like if you’re eating and outstretch your hand, the cheese stretches too. This was not the case. It tasted like it was cooked around 11 AM, sat out, and reheated, 7 hours later. I’m not sure if I’ll go again. I’m a bit...

Best pizza in Poway, and to be honest, top pizza anywhere....Great place to stop for lunch, to take food home! Mike (owner), Ned, and Sonny are just all-around great, and friendly folks to see time and again as I stop by for lunch....ensure to see all that they have.....I am for the most part fixated on a single slice pizza with Ham, Bacon, and Pepperoni...(three primary meat groups of a pig).on occasion, I get the cheesesteak, meat, and cheese only.....please.... In addition, they speak multiple languages of which one i am learning...fun to come in and get a language lesson along with my chow...highly recommend coming by....oh yes, I like my pizza crispy, and they accommodate my particulars...(I swear I am not high maintenance! Hm) Be prepared to enjoy great chow, friendly smiles, and conversation as you wait...
