If you like dropping your vehicle off and having to drive all the way back to the dealership because you can't get a callback, then go to All Star Ford in Prairieville. Apparently, they're so busy they don't have time for that callback stuff... EVER.
My '02 Expedition went in for repairs - the first time - on 28 May 2015 with 171935 on the odometer. It came out 2 June 2015 with a bill for 3200 bucks and odometer reading of 171935 - EXACT same mileage reading. Two coils replaced for 360 bucks' worth. $500 of the bill was to have the rear lift gate fixed because it wouldn't even open. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later, when I realized the hatch wouldn't lock using the driver's door actuator. Silly me... $500 bucks didn't cover that... just repairing the lift gate costs that. I was told the whole thing had to be rebuilt. Apparently, the "whole thing rebuilt" does not include having it lock remotely. Want it to lock? That's going to be more, of course.
22 June 2015 Brought it BACK for service with mileage at 172014 because I saw fluid literally BLOWING out from underneath the vehicle when started... to move it from over the place where there was literally a PUDDLE of fluid beneath the vehicle. Got it back with the SAME mileage reading, and they "couldn't find a leak". They did, however, manage to find that the car needed another coil replaced for another 155 bucks.
29 June 2015 Brought it BACK for service because service engine light was on and it was running roughly... Odometer? 172054 in, 172058 out. Problem? Massive intake manifold leak... wow... to coin a phrase from that insurance commercial... THAT's a LEAK! and about $1400 bucks to replace the intake manifold. Two more coils... another 360 bucks' worth because the nonexistent leak I reported ruined TWO MORE COILS. Fancy that.
Another few miles and a few days later, I smelled something burning and the brakes mushy... couldn't find anything. They did, however, recommend I get THREE MORE COILS replaced as a "preventive measure".
I wouldn't bring another vehicle to All Star if they held a gun on me. The only reason I didn't give a lower rating is there is no provision for a negative star rating, and the vehicle didn't actually explode when I...
Read moreI will never be recommending this place to anyone ever. Nor will I ever be going back myself. My husband brought his truck in to be repaired after an accident happened, with the promise of it being one week, it is extended to two. He has been working out of town recently, forcing us to spend over $1,000 on a rental vehicle. Once my husband does get his truck back, the battery is dead, mind you we have not had any issues up until this point, suddenly after being in their care for 2 weeks, it’s dead? I’m already paying a substantial amount of money for them to fix it, just for them to give it back to him with a dead battery. We ended up having to get it towed back to them to see what was wrong, just for the Collision Center manager Ronnie to tell me “these things just happen” sure yes they do. Someone from the shop even told my husband “well it was probably a light left on” So I’m sure negligence was had somewhere. Someone left a light on or left the key in, and now I (a clearly not worthy customer) has to pay on top of the amount said for a new battery? And the least Ronnie could do was “cover the labor” to put in a new battery, which, give me a break, I could’ve went to Auto Zone and gotten one WITHOUT labor cost in the first place, and with much nicer service. The quality inspection manager is also trash to, because why would you give us a truck with a dead battery? And had the inspection been done before starting repairs on the vehicle, the battery life would’ve been caught, had it truly been because “these things just happen” Of course this company isn’t starving for money, you’d think they’d rather fall in favor of keeping a loyal customer rather than saving a buck. Manager Chris doesn’t think so. I am not happy with this experience and I will NEVER be back. Customer experience is put last on the list when it comes to this place. I recommend ANY other body shop or company for any...
Read moreVictim of bait and switch tactics at this dealership. I tried twice to buy a mustang from this dealership. The first time their salesman wasted 3 hours of my time trying to explain to me how buying a car worked. How Of course the KBB value was just too high and they couldnt come close to that. Their guys at the computers even called me in to tell me I was wasting their time asking for a fair trade by stating they could buy my car at an auction for cheaper. I went to the ford dealer in Denham and an hour later from first walking in had my wife's brand new 2015 GT Premium. They gave me what I wanted and were happy to sell me the car. If you see David Nu at the Denham location he is a no BS guy. Easy to understand.
Fast forward to Yesterday. I emailed back and forth with Anita Cooney, their internet sales specialist. She quoted me a price on a 2016 GT Premium for myself, I accepted the terms, and drove back to this dealership. I was greeted by Parnell and asked him to value my trade, then took it for a test drive with "Big O" while that happened. When I got back they had numbers ready for me, to the tune of 38,838. I was quoted 37,064 by the internet sales Anita. When I mentioned this they told me it was no problem and went back to rehash their numbers. When they returned they told me that actually it was in fact impossible, and that even though I have in writing specific terms they wouldnt honor it. That's two sales they've missed from me now.
Step your game up people. The internet has websites like Edmunds, KBB, NADA, and local listings for everyone to research what a fair price is. Quit trying to act like we are all idiots with no experience in buying a car. You HAD the sale, then you tried squeezing me and lost it. That's two lost sales in under a year because of the...
