On The Half Shell — Restaurant in Louisiana

My shrimp came out RAW! WAY over priced for the quality and quantity served! This was my second time dining here. The first time I was not impressed but I decided to give it another chance. Myself and one other person in our party ordered the stuffed shrimp plate. First of all it was only 4 medium sized shrimp on this plate ($17.99). But the main problem was that mine were ice cold in the middle. My shrimp were totally raw- grey and gum like. The other person who ordered this same plate had the same problem. Our waitress took our entrees back and re did the entree. However it took another 20 mins and the "stuffing" was still undercooked and wet, falling off barely cooked shrimp. I only ate one of the "re-cooked" shrimp then noticed an ant crawling on my food. My appetite was lost by this point and when the waitress asked if I wanted a to-go box I said no. Needless to say they still charged us for both (I understand I wouldn't get a free meal but maybe a comp. desert or something to eat while we were waiting, watching the others eat would have been nice). Where I do start.. I brought a $100 worth of food last night on 12/2/22, that wasn't even worth a fraction of the price. First, they overcharge me by charging me for 2 sirloin instead of 1. So I said no problem, I'll keep it. The grilled shrimps I ordered to go on top of the sirloin steak, tasted awful. It tasted like uncleaned shrimps with a lake taste. The grilled shrimps also had a bad smell when warmed up and the sirloin tasted awful as well. Second item, was a half/half fish & shrimp poboy. The fish was salty & rubbery, the shrimps was rubbery, and the bread was hard. I literally had to spit out every bite and I only took 2 bites. One bite of each half of the poboy. I also added american & peperjack cheese on the poboy. I was charged, but no cheese was added. Third item, was Shrimp Scampi. It had a black piece of hair floating in the butter sauce. This was the last item I took out the bag, and it went straight in the trash. Also, the spaghetti was dry and the shrimps tasted awful. We had the best lunch ever! To start off, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip with fresh warm pita chips. It was so delicious! Side salads were cold and fresh! Ordered the New Orleans style BBQ shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes, Fried half shell seafood platter with seafood gumbo, coleslaw, and fries, Asiago Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies, and a Kids Grilled cheese with fries. All these plates were a 10/10. Very delicious and tasty. All made from scratch. Then for dessert we didn't what to choose from and ordered the pecan bread pudding with lots of praline sauce that had just come out of the oven freshly made, a raspberry cheesecake, and a lava cake with lots of whipped cream. All the food was great. You can really taste the freshness in each bite. Even their sweet tea with fresh lemon was awesome. We had the best waitress ever, Mindy.
