Update: 7-23-21 My wife just got home frombthe Airline Hwy Prairieville, La location. She ordered a 12 pack of crunchy tacos and 4 cheesy bean and rice burritos. What we recieved were 12 tacos that were no longer crunchy. She noted there was a long wait and so we can only conclude that they were made and sat some time before she arrived at the pickup window. Either way, the soft tacos have more crunch than the soggy mess they served us. Oh, let's not forget about the cheesy bean and rice burritos.... they gave us beef and bean burritos. Is it really the end of the world? No, however 100% of our order is either wrong or completely lacking any quality.
This review is directed more at Taco Bell in general rather than this particular location although we have had our fair share of mistakes at this location in the past. After quite a long wait of about 20 minutes in the drive-thru line, we were finally able to order. Although the wait was long, I'm not really upset about it because we could have left if we chose to but decided to wait. Add in a possible worker shortage right now and it is what it is. One item we wanted to order was the nacho party pack but were told (as we have been on multiple visits here) that they did not have the boxes for them so we would have to order two of the smaller, single $5 nacho boxes. Well, the smaller boxes each come with a drink which we don't need or want. We asked if we could either delete the drink for a lower price or substitute something else and were told no to both options. There were three of us in the vehicle and all of us already had drinks and frankly, we didn't have room for more and didn't want to have to baby a drink holder. We were also going to order three additional $5 boxes with a Crunchwrap I believe it was called. Again, that would be an additional three drinks for a total of five drinks we didn't want. We ended up ordering one of the Crunchwrap boxes for my son and that was all. Here is the real kicker though. We try very hard to keep things simple here because if not, there is a good chance our order will be wrong. So if we had ordered the Crunchwrap box items seperately, sure we could've gotten the food without the drinks..... and likely missing items like so many other times. As for the party pack nacho boxes, why are you always out? Why can't I buy the smaller nacho box without being forced to get a drink? It's not about the money, it's the principle. It's fast food, I get it and really I don't expect superior service or customized orders. But Taco Bell shouldn't expect that every customer needs or wants drinks, especially at the drive-thru. Maybe take a lesson from Popeyes. Their meal or box that they offer is $5. Want a drink, add it for $1. See how simple that is? Quit being a drink bully and get the party pack...
Read moreI have never been treated so poorly at a fast food establishment. The team working tonight showed zero professionalism or concern for customers. After sitting in a drive through for 20 minutes, I was told at the speaker that unless I was picking up for Door Dash, my order would not be taken. After explaining that I waited for 20 minutes (6+ cars behind me), she told me that the team had not had a break since 4pm and customers would need to wait so the team could "break the line down." After waiting another 10 minutes, I pulled to the window and asked when I could place my order. The woman asked if I understood that she was a human being and that she hadn't had a break since 4pm (this was 10:45pm). My wife was in the car and explained that as a general manager of a quick service restaurant herself, she understood the workload but said there should be a sign posted on the speaker to let customers know that orders are not being taken. The woman asked we understood that they hadn't had a break and closed the drive thru window in our face. Another woman came to the window and apologized but only offered for us to wait longer if we wanted to order. There is really no excuse for treating customers this way, especially those that have waited patiently for service... and arrived more than 1 hour before the restaurant's...
Read moreSo,this morning I went to this location to order breakfast. I went to the drive thru and placed my order. I pulled forward and had to tell the woman my order again.( No big deal) I was the only customer there. No one was inside eating, and there was no cars in front or behind me. The woman who took my order both times, also took my payment. She then asked me to BACK UP behind the yellow pole and she would let me know when my food was ready. I thought it was weird, but figured that maybe they were going to clean the windows or something. Nope nothing! I sat there for a good 8 min. I pulled forward and no one was there. Another 5 min goes by and I'm thinking they stole my money a few more moments goes by and the worst is going through my mind ( she didn't give me a recipe) when another lady hands me my food. I couldn't even eat my food. When I took a bite there was something chewy in it, and it had a weird smell. I love Taco Bell. I order the same two things every time I visit. Something is going on at this location! I...
