If you’re looking to get your phone repaired, I would 100% NOT recommend going to The eStore Comic and Tech Shop in Prestonsburg for any reason whatsoever. I would give this “business” zero stars if I could. My husband went on Thursday for an iPhone screen repair. I messaged them prior and they said that the repair comes with a 60 day warranty and costs $130 +tax. They replaced the screen, and even added a screen protector (this is important!) and then about two hours after the repair the screen started glitching and wasn’t functioning as it should. He couldn’t even use the phone. Less than 24 hours later, he took it back to use the warranty and fix it. Once an hour passed, he went to get his phone and the guy who “repaired” it brought it out and accused him of dropping and re-breaking the screen. My husband’s phone screen was in perfect condition when he dropped it off. The guy had obviously taken something sharp and lifted the screen protector to break it so he could get more money instead of honoring the warranty. If you look at their other Google reviews, you can see that re-breaking their screen repairs and accusing the customers of doing it, is a VERY common scam tactic that they use to void their “warranty.” The fact that this happened to more than one person proves that it wasn’t an accident or coincidence. If you read this and still decide to use them for your phone repairs for some reason, I would highly encourage you to take photos of your phone before you take it in, and make sure that there is a time stamp in the photo. The photo added shows that the phones actual screen was exposed under the screen protector. If it had fallen and had the same point of impact as the photo, it would’ve cracked the exposed screen too. This crack was done intentionally.

They tell you there’s a warranty on new screens as long as the screen protectors aren’t removed or cracked, basically no physical damage to the screen, Step sons phone was dropped off, due to pink and green flashes in the screen, that was under warranty with the screen protector still on and no cracks or scratches on the replacement, they wanted to charge him another replacement fee then proceeded to jerk the phone out of his hand & try to pop the new screen off after my boyfriend said he would be leaving a bad review for them lying about the screen warranty. (We have photos to prove the screen wasn’t damaged when dropped off from previous replacement) 911 was called due to the aggressiveness of employees and possibility of keeping the phone after it was paid for. Do not recommend unless you want f’d over and scammed out of your money. As you can see in the photos there was no physical damage to the screen and I even added where you can see the air bubbles at the edge of the protector the store applied to the replacement.

If I could give this place a 0/5 I would. I will NEVER recommend anyone get their phone fixed at this store. My husband brought my iPhone 12 in for a back glass repair bc it was cracked. The first time we got the phone back the front screen was a completely different color and the phone would not work..granted they did say we could bring it back and they would fix it because the machine they used to heat up the back glass “must have malfunctioned”. We got the phone back after waiting way longer than we should have, and the MagSafe properties in the phone didn’t work, it was overheating so bad you couldn’t hold it, and the screen was still acting funny. Took it back for another time and waited weeks for them to repair it only to still not have the phone working properly. When you lay the phone flat the mad safe charger will slightly connect, but will not hold on any of the devices I have in my jeep..which now makes that function useless. Took it back again to say it wasn’t working right and they basically said “welp did my best, sorry”. I’m not even sure they did anything to the phone this time im pretty sure they just forgot about it. over $1000 phone broken worse than it was when it was taken in. I hope no one else ever takes their phone there...

Update.. they say if the screen protector was still on it would be different. I have photos of the phone before being dropped off that shows the phone had the screen protector on it. Feel free to look me up on fb i have posted said photos there!!

Guys I 100% do not recommend doing business with the @estore in Prestonsburg ky. My sons phone screen messed up I had it replaced for around $200 dollars, it came with a 30 day warranty. This Saturday will make the 30 days, well last Saturday it messed up with the same issue pink lines and a green screen. Took it in to have fixed under warranty and they say it was physical damage and charge me again. The phone was not damaged in anyway from when they fixed it last time, low and behold I pay the and inform them i’m leaving a bad review the guy gets mad tells the younger boy to just remove the screen after i’ve gave him my card to pay and I call 911 to get law enforcement out there. 100% do not recommend doing business with these guys!!!! They do not honor there warranty and get pissed and raise hell when you let them know you will leave a honest...
