Horrible experience all around.
I couldn’t wait to write a review for this place, However, I waited to get a copy of my daughter’s recital.
Where do I start!? My daughter started here last August 2022 in one of Selena’s ballet/tap classes and was there until June's 2023 recital. During the year I would periodically step-up front by the door (which I highly encourage you do as they don’t have a glass window like other places) to see how my daughter was progressing. I constantly saw her lagging behind. She was one of the youngest in the class so IMHO she needed a bit more attention than they could give her. So if you’re looking for attentiveness and patience, this ISN’T the place.
What was unbelievably tacky and flat out unprofessional was the recital. My family arrived 25 mins early and dropped off my daughter as soon as I got there. I tried switching my daughter’s shoes to her dance shoes, but the young girl at check-in said she would handle it. Meanwhile, we left check-in to find seats, but everyone had blocked all seats for themselves and their 10 family members. We were lucky to have someone give up the very last row. Some 20 ppl didn't get as lucky and had to stand in the back.
Literally 5 mins before the recital is set to start, we have Miss Selena come on stage to call for me and yell out if I had my daughter's ballet shoes (tacky). I had to yell back across the auditorium (again, we’re sitting in the very back last row) to tell her that I handed them off to someone at check in. She asked “When was that!?”…I replied “25 mins ago.” Mind you--this "conversation" took over across an auditorium full of people. (Cringe). I walked back to the check-in area and by the time I got there…they miraculously had found her shoes! (insert eye roll). Overall it was a poorly executed recital.
To sum it up: If you care about the level of attention and professionalism given: Go elsewhere. If you care about seeing a professional and well-put recital: This ISN'T it. We are fortunate to have so many amazing dance studios in the area, so no worries here to find a new home.
And Pro TIP for this place: Book a recital venue that will actually accommodate the students and their families and/or cap the tickets like so many other studios do. Our last studio made the parents pay for their own tickets and I’d gladly pay to secure a seat to my daughter’s recital. And if you can’t do that, please come up with something better to say than “That’s why we encourage parents to arrive early” (This was said word per word by the three ladies at the check-in table)… because clearly 25 mins...
Read moreTwo years ago we were in search of a new dance studio for our daughters after our previous studio shut down. A friend recommended we check out All Out Dance Academy and upon meeting with the studio owner, Salena, we knew we had found our new studio home.
My older daughter auditioned and made their performance company and over the past two years has made lifelong friends and has grown so much as a dancer thanks to the training she has received from the amazing teachers at this studio.
My younger daughter also started taking classes at the studio and she has thrived in the encouraging and fun environment. It’s hard to get her to want to leave when her classes are over!
As we enter our third year at All Out, we are so grateful for a studio who loves our children and want a to see them grow not only as dancers, but as people. Their teaching is encouraging & compassionate, yet disciplined.
Our family is also so grateful for the other dance families at the studio, where support and love is the norm and not the exception, like you might find elsewhere. When you spend multiple days a week at a studio, this makes all the difference.
Whether your kiddo just wants to dance for fun or pursue it more seriously, this studio can provide a place where they can learn, thrive & meet...
Read moreI can’t say enough about the amazing dance community All Out has built!!. The owners are organized and professional and their love of dance is reflected in their amazing staff. We have had 7 different instructors in various classes and each one truly care about the growth and development of their students.
