What a fun farmers market!
My dad wanted a pumpkin and a couple ears of corn to take with him up to Sun Terrace assisted living. My wife found some amazing oils to purchase several of, and I found some glassware that had been decorated with an air eraser (similar to an airbrush but more like a miniature sandblaster).
Okay, okay, so I bought a glass with a Sasquatch on it as an ongoing joke with a dear family member. ;)
Somebody said that soon the farmers and others would be moving indoors for the cooler autumn season. So when it gets chilly look for them perhaps in the set of small park buildings on the east side of the street, and/or in their frontier-fortress-style structure on the west side of the street behind the library too.

Read moreI loved all the new vendors this year! We even got our oldest daughter connected with Moore's Family Farm to get a side of their delicious beef!! The Magical Macaroons are giant handmade deliciousness!! I also got a delicious bottle of Tempranillo from Davenlore Winery. The Olde Timers Pork Rinds are a staple in our home during Market season and are always my first stop! Chef Melinda's Homemade Granola is doesn't have a booth there this year but is available in the Farmers Market Store right by Moore's Family Farm. Chef Melinda's granola never leaves my pantry...it is the BEST!!! I also picked up the most beautiful handwoven basket in the Market Store to put all my treasures...
