Okay, so I'm gonna start off by saying that I have been a customer with gamestop since they were. Software cetera in the mall years and years ago. Each time I've went into gamestop. I've had nothing but a pleasant experience. I've known a lot of the workers for years as well as hung out with them and consider them. Most friends however, this last time I went in was probably the worst experience. I've had thus far by going to gamestop in the well over fifteen years. Now I also want to start off and say that Claire. The manager has been helpful. Yesterday I went in to go trade in some items to get a couple of new items. The items I went to go get was a 1 TB CJ hard drive for the Xbox, as well as an Xbox Series X controller, the elites series 2. Upon getting to the store, it took roughly about 45 minutes. For Claire to be able to help me due to the fact that she was the only one working and she was busy. Once I was able to be helped, I inquired about the controller as well as the sea gates. She went and got the items and wrung me up. I taken back a headsets. A controller with 2 battery packs. 2 switch controllers as well as 6 switch cartridges that were inside of a translucent's red case and 2 Xbox Series X games. I was told that the headset was not able to be taken in which is fine. The other items were taken in. However, the video games were not on the receipts. When I got home, I looked everywhere for the video games and could not find them. I back cracked inside of my father's vehicle as well as drove back. 2 games stopped to see if I could locate the games. However, I was unable to find them. I came back home and looked everywhere here in the house. And they are not anywhere that I can find. I have only been 3 places since going to gamestop my house. My father's vehicle and gamestop, so I'm not entirely sure. What could have happened to those games between them? But I know I did take them into gamestop to sell them towards this transaction. Also upon getting home. I noticed that there were components missing inside of the controller box. As you can imagine, that was very frustrating as well as my $25 gift card. 4 Xbox live that I had paid for that was on. The receipt was not in the bag as well. All I am asking is for this to be made rights for me to get the credit that I was owed as well as just have this entire situation taken care of as soon as possible.    Read more! I worked at gamestop in Las Vegas Nevada. So I am fully aware of the procedures and policies! So I walk in, guy Behind the counter is yelling at his kids and wife and his dog is barking out of control. He proceeds to kick them out, yes his own family snaping his fingers in a girl/womans face. Then I walk up to the counter, Waiting for him to be finished with this dilemma, waiting patiently I then politely ask for a game that i'm there to buy. He "barks" "NO!" At me 4 times before I can even ask for it. Then tells me he does not have any and to go to the mall. He said he was gonna have the product held for me when I get there. I drive from south side to mall to find It's a used copy they are selling full price, not a new copy. All in all, the experience was horrible wasted time and gas. This is why I don't like to shop there. And I really wish game Force was still open and not closing because I do not like gamestop at all. I got home and didn't realize that is was battery operated and I didn't want that. Went back in today to return it and the manager was about to but then said, "oh, it was on clearance and I cant take it back." I was never told I couldn't return the item when I bought it and he didn't even know you couldn't return it until he tried to. I'm so disgusted that they wont honor returning it even though as the customer, I was not warned before I bought it that if its on sale or clearance, all sales are final.
