Pueblo Dragon — Restaurant in Pueblo

Usually a HUGE FAN of Pueblo Dragon, however lately the standard has definitely slipped. Altho I don't often leave reviews, tonight it's info needs sharing.

Tonight I ordered shrimp with snow peas. Sadly, a box of mostly HUGE almost raw broccoli arrived. NOT 1 pea! When I called they were good with my concern that I did not get what I ordered. Offered to replace. Agreed. But wait..... Shortly after I get a call from Pueblo Dragon telling me the cook wanted them to explain to me that there are indeed other veg, including broccoli in the Shrimp with Snow Peas (NOT as described on menu). Now I've been ordering this dish for years and generally know that it usually has some filler veg like zucchini, carrot...NEVER have I seen, nor received, this dish with celery, mushroom, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli...LOTS of BIG almost raw broccoli....and I repeat this order had NOT 1 snow pea!! I again questioned if they had maybe sent me shrimp with mixed veg, but was assured not. At this point she tells me the cook wanted to know if he could just send a side order of snow peas, or did I still prefer the replacement order as previously offered. I opted for replacement order even tho I was told both drivers were out and they could not give me a delivery time guesstimate. Luckily the driver was here pretty quickly and very nice. He knew we were regulars and apologized, even tho it had nothing to do with his performance. I did send the original order back, as received, so they could actually see why I was disappointed at not getting what I ordered. I hope they took time to look and show the cook! Next time I will be very specific in my order.

In the end problem resolved even tho it had to go around Robin Hood's barn. PLEASE update/correct menu so item descriptions are accurate....some people have food specific needs.

I regularly order from here for the past 5 years I’ve lived here. The last time I placed a delivery order, as I always do. I was told it would be 30-35 minutes. Once I waited almost an hour and a half I called to see how much longer it was going to take and they said they had it ready for pick up and it’s been sitting there “awhile”. The lady continued to apologize and said she would have it here as soon as possible, so I continued to wait another 45 minutes. I called to let them know I no longer wanted my food that I already waited over 2 hrs for. The delivery guy showed up a minute after I got off the phone and I explained I no longer wanted the food and I called to let them know. I tried to order the other day to give them a second chance only for the lady that answered the phone to LIE to me and tell me they’re not delivering. I called the other location and let them know my normal location wasn’t delivering and asked if they would be able to deliver to me, I’m a stay at home mom and have no way to go pick up. They continued to call the store and finally tell me the truth that they have me listed to not deliver to anymore because I canceled the last order I waited 2 hours for. I will never come here again. I’ve encountered many rude employees, undercooked food, forgetting items I’ve ordered, and still have came back. The lack of customer appreciation is...

02.16.2024 Haven't been here since last fall 2023, and it's still as yummy as ever. The young lady is so friendly and always has a positive attitude and loves her customers! I highly recommend it, and their food is awesome, plus their clean and food comes hot out of the pan! I recommend the vegetable soup!!

05.25.23 Oh, how we love it here. The young lady with the mask on, I think her name might be Amanda. She is so very friendly and welcoming. I have to always change up what I can eat (swallowing issues), and she just always obliges. My favorite is the vegetable soup, and now my new favorite is the orange shrimp!!! Never a bad meal 😊

2022/ Omg! The food is EXCELLENT!! The owner is sweet as can be, and the wait staff are terrific. I have never eaten here even though I'm a born and raised southsider

The pork and veggie egg rolls are the best. I've never in my 49 yrs had one, and I asked the server if these were hand-made and rolled, and she said yes!

This place is authentic, to say the least. Best place in town. Mom & Pop places are hard to find, and...
