This place ALLOWS their employees to yell at the customers because the customer wants to sit down in the restaurant and eat!! They place “Reservation Cards” on tables so that no one sits at the table and no one shows up to sit and eat at the reserved table!!! We asked to speak to a manager and she was too busy (January 19, 2024) to come and talk to us about the male employee who yelled at us. I called the next day and spoke to the manager and requested that the owners call me; they never did!!! Why, because they don’t care how employees treat their customers!!! Manager stated that the male owner doesn’t take complaints and that “Bambi” would call me back. Bambi never called me!!! Called the corporate office and they sent Bambi an email to call me…. You guessed it, she Never called me back!!!! Called on January 26th and asked to speak to the owners, the manager stated, “I think that they are out of town.” I believe that the female manager hasn’t given the owners the complaint; after all, she should have come and spoke to us on January 19th because of the employee who yelled at us! So, it’s either their manager or the owners who doesn’t give a damn how customers are treated!! Not to mention… the floors were filthy dirty with food all over. Tables were piled with dirty dishes and dirty cups. Other tables were turned in the opposite direction with dirty dishes. It was obvious that the staff didn’t want anyone to dine in!!!! No customer deserves to be yelled at because they are trying to find a table to sit and eat after they have paid for their meal. This business should not have their doors open at 7:15pm and closing up dining room sections when tables are dirty, turned and reserved!!! This is the fourth time that we have received horrible service at the Pueblo Pizza Ranch!! You hire young kids who don’t pick up dishes, don’t deliver the pizza to your table before placing it at the buffet table and who plays “Follow The Leader,” with other staff members their age!!! I would think that the owners would say that this is a business and not high school or a play ground to their staff!!! As for the owner who was previous Army, you should know how to take complaints as your female manager said that you don’t take customer complaints!!!! All we can see is that you don’t give a damn about customer service and a restaurant that is so filthy and dirty!!! If you cared, I would believe that you would still be at work at 7:15pm to make sure that the staff is treating the customers with Respect and helping to clean up the filthy place!!!! The gentleman told me it would be about 20 minutes, instead it took almost 40 minutes to get my food. I thought, no biggie, it'll be fresh and it was. Fast forward to a week or so later, instead of walking in and ordering, I decided to call my order in (same order as last time). I was told it would be about 20 minutes, again. I got there 40 minutes later, the lady tells me my chicken is ready but she's waiting on biscuits. There again I'm thinking, no problem, fresh is better. Wrong!!! So to make up for old burnt chicken, instead of 4pcs they put 6 in the box. 6 burnt, dried out pieces of chicken. And the cherry on top, the biscuit she was waiting on, was smashed and burnt too. But I guess I was gluten for punishment. Because tonight I decided to give them another shot. But instead of chicken, I figured I'd do pizza. One of their bundle deals. Pizza, cheese sticks and a dessert. I made the order online. Got my confirmation email. All's good. Email says it could take 45 minutes to an hour. An hour rolls by, so I call... I'm told they have my order ready but they have no one to deliver it... Oh, and they're closing early due to the weather... so I could either leave work and come pick it up (which I'm an armed Security Guard, so I can't just up and leave) or cancel the order... after all that, I figured hunger was better than more frustration so I canceled the order over the phone. Not even 10 minutes later I get a text message saying my order will be delivered in 30 minutes... bad business. Don't serve old burt food. Don't quote unrealistic time frames. And as a business, if you get orders that for whatever reason you can't fulfill, notify your customers. This was our second time at Pizza Ranch for their Lunch Buffet. The fried chicken was good and the pizza was better than the last time. I found out that they make three kinds of pizza dough, thin, regular and thick. The fresh thick dough white pizza was delicious. The bread sticks were very good and I used some of the pasta's marinara sauce for dipping.
Unfortunately, a note on the door stated that they will be closed until further notice on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday due to the government caused labor shortage.
What a shame. This is the last buffet left in Pueblo.
All of the people working here act and make you feel like they really appreciate that you came. Everyone is very active.
The facility is mostly an open buffet that offers pizza, fried chicken, an extensive salad bar, soft ice cream and cookies. A wide assortment of drinks are included in the buffet price.
They have a couple of Senior Days so check that out as it makes the place a real bargain.
The big surprise is the salad bar. It even had beets and Oriental style greens along with fresh spinach and other greens.
No station is ever empty.
The fried chicken is made in small batches so it is very fresh as well as good. My only disappointment was the pizza that I chose. It was pretty average. They will custom make a pizza and you can take as much as you want and they just add the leftovers to the buffet. I will try...
