I want to start off by saying that we really like our new couch, itâs extremely comfortable. What we havenât really appreciated was the lack of transparency behind their âliquidation saleâ, the lack of communication from the store about our delivery, and the impatient and rushed delivery people. We went to the store thinking that everything was on sale, given the fact that all of their signs say âeverything must go 70% off!â. Our couch was not on sale at all, but we still bought it because we wanted to support a local business. We were told we would have all three pieces of our sofa by end of May. Itâs June 20 and our last piece just got delivered and there was no phone call from the shop to update us on our sofa delivery. The first time our two pieces were delivered they said they would give us 15 minutes heads up. The delivery drivers called and said if we didnât show up they were going to leave. No warning, no 15 minute heads up. This time they called to say they were a few hours behind, which was fine, we understood. They then called to say they were on their way so I left work to get home and meet them. As I pull up they are getting into their truck and telling my boyfriend on the phone that if I wasnât there they would leave, with our sofa. On top of all of this, we paid for this delivery service and it was less than professional. Overall I would give our sofa a 5 stars and the customer service a 1 star. Their prices looked fair so decided to make a trip to the store. The service was not very helpful in the store, provided very few details about the furniture, their policies, prices, etc. Ended up buying a couch, which they were going to deliver the next week. During that weekend had some second thoughts and decided I would cancel my order. After making multiple phone calls the owner finally called and said they would have to charge a $50 fee because they had loaded it on the truck already. Decided it wasn't worth the hassle and told them just to deliver it. They gave me a two hour window 11-1. Called me at 12:50 to say that they would not be here for another hour. I work wed-sun and Iâve been trying to call and set up a time to pick up on my days off (mon and tues). I havenât been able to get threw to voice mail. Just an automated message saying to try again later and/or their business hoursThe one time I was able to get threw the lady on the phone told me I could only pick up Friday or Saturday. Despite saying I work and wouldnât be able to pick it up the lady schedule a pick up time for Friday. I really want the mattress I paid for back in June or July.
