I never write reviews, but I made time to do this one. The customer service has always been nice when we come here, but the product we got tonight is absolutely unacceptable. Me and my mom ordered two of their Brownie Affogato’s. They told us to wait as they had two of these available. We thought these were already done and they were just boxing them. We waited patiently however, the wait was way too long (around 30 minutes) as they were making them. When we finally got them we were happy as the long wait was worth it, or so we thought, for the product we were expecting and have ordered many times before. They let us know they poured the espresso on the brownies already and boxed the ice cream separately. This was unusual as they usually pack the espresso separately from the brownies, but we happily went on our way just glad that we finally got them. Please note, the way they boxed these brownies was absolutely terrible as the espresso spilled out of both brownie boxes and was gathered up at the bottom of the bag they packed it in. Additionally, when we saw how the end product looked we were very upset. Especially since we we waited so long. If the end product is going to look and taste like mush, then just be upfront and tell us you don’t have any time, or effort, to make the quality product expected for the money we paid. We’ve ordered these before and they’ve never looked like the order we got tonight. Very disappointed. The first picture is how it should look, from the times we have ordered them before, in comparison to the second picture which is what we got tonight. It was not even a whole brownie. There was half a brownie in both of the boxes we got. Overall, don’t be like us and not check the end product before leaving. Sad experience as we have always enjoyed this place every time we have come, but not tonight.

I have been eyeing visiting this place for a while. Finally went and was underwhelmed. It was a Friday afternoon and there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. There was one large table of people that hadn't ordered. It took about 10 minutes for a waitress to come and take our order. It appeared that there was only one waitress for the afternoon. UPDATE - The food came out pretty quickly though. We had gotten an all day breakfast item - Lazy Susan. It was pretty small for the price. Ordered a side of hashbrowns as well, which was $4.99. The taste of the french toast was very good. The hashbrowns were a bit undercooked and oily as well. The other item ordered was the CougaReubin which lacked flavor. It was mostly bread and greatly lacked the "mounds" of pastrami advertised. It has two slices of pastrami and two slices of turkey. I could barely tell if there was sauerkraut in the sandwich. The fries were actually pretty tasty and I enjoyed them.

Pretty decent breakfast is served up here. My son loved the strawberry crepes so much that he ate it 3 days in a row! I tried the corned beef hash and eggs which was pretty good. The pancakes that came with it were huge! 2 cakes that covered a 12 inch plate! I also had the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. I would go for that again! We also went there for the BBQ one evening. Unfortunately that was a thumbs down. It was reheated from the previous day. The brisket was completely dried out. The 1/2 pound of pulled pork looked more like a quarter pound. The ribs need a firm pull to get it off the bone but it did have a great smokey flavor. So unless you happen to be there for fresh bbq I dont recommend ordering it. Service was friendly!

My husband and I (attempted) to have lunch there yesterday. We didn't go until 1:30 (to avoid the 'rush'). There were people at 4 other tables, we being the 5th. The waitress was very friendly when we first came in, brought us menus and water, took my husband's drink order (I didn't order anything), brought it right away, but unfortunately that is were the service ended. It only took us a couple of minutes to decide what we wanted and then we just sat there, and waited, and waited. The waitress NEVER came back. She served the table across from us, had a several minute conversation with them about where she was from, what she was studying, etc (was literally like 10 feet from us, but had her back to us). Finally stopped talking to them and I'm thinking 'well ok now she will take our order'. Nope, went to another table that had already been served (presumably to see if they wanted anything else). Then went back to the counter and had a conversation with the 2 employees there (who, by the way, were also obviously oblivious to the fact that we came to the restaurant to actually ORDER food, since they also ignored us). The waitress came back out to the floor and I was thinking 'well, finally, now she will come back and take our order'. Nope, she went back to the table she was having the conversation with before. By this time we had been in the restaurant (that was almost empty) probably 20 minutes, my lunch hour was almost half over and hadn't even ordered yet, not because they were busy, which I could have understood, but because we were just ignored, my husband is a painter so starts works early, was done for the day and was really hungry, so he was livid, we just decided to leave. I went up to the counter and asked how much for the soda because we weren't going to wait any longer. They seriously seemed surprised by that. We heard the food was good, my husband was really looking forward to the biscuits and gravy, wish I could have actually...

As a former Coug and resident of the Stephen Towers (before the remodel) I would have eaten at Zoe's every chance I could. My wife and I had to take our young cat to the vet hospital for some tests and on our way to her appointment we smelled the smoke, then saw the smoker pouring out the sweet smell of BBQ. We had a 2 hour wait for our cats testing to be finished, so we both knew where we were going for lunch. Parking is a little limited, as is seating...because the place was hopping. We did find a spot within the first pass...our lucky day. We decided to order online...such a smooth process. The menu is well laid out, adding/subtracting options, choosing your toppings, sides, sauces, coffee, and really anything form start to finish...super easy. The wait for the order was about 40 minutes, but as I said they were busy...and we had time. The staff was great when I came in for the food, and I didn't wait long once I was inside...my order was just finishing up. Everything we needed, other than maybe a wet nap was in the back. Utensils, napkins, side sauces, and fresh food. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, fries, and coleslaw. Everything was perfect. The bun held up to the perfectly sauced meat. The pork had fantastic smoke flavor with a great combo of crunchy and soft pork. The bbq sauce was flavorful and mixed with a garlic aioli gave it something I didn't know pulled pork was missing...and the sauce didn't over power the meat's flavor. My wife had fish and chips, and of course I "sampled" some. The fish was perfect and the coating had a perfect finish...not oily with the perfect crunch into a nice, flaky, and juicy piece of cod. Definitely top notch. The beer battered fries on both orders where excellent. It will be a go to stop for us whenever we are in Pullman and it should be yours as well. (Next time I'll take pictures, but the ones on the menu match what you get...
