I had the absolute best time for my bridal trial today with Kelsey and Liz. First I want to mention that Kelsey has been incredible with responses every single time I’ve reached out to her, and so detail oriented to make things easy and fun. My hair trial with Liz was beyond my expectation! I showed her my reference photo once, and she nailed it on the first try with ease. We are 7 hours into the style, and it still looks just as beautiful as when she first curled it, and I got SO many compliments today as I was out and about. Kelsey did my makeup, and she really listened which I absolutely love. I wanted a natural look so that my freckles could still shine through, and let me tell you, I was SHOCKED with how beautiful my makeup looked. I was terrified for my makeup trial because the last thing I wanted was to not look like myself, or too have just too much. Kelsey listened so well and she absolutely nailed a “healthy natural skin glow style.” I couldn’t have dreamt this going better. I got compliments ALL day on how natural and beautiful I looked and I truly felt beautiful, but more importantly I felt like myself. I gave my fiancé a sneak peak and he was in awe! I was so happy about it all, that I stopped at my parents house on the way home and my dad was blown away and my mom was nearly teary eyed. Thank you SO much Kelsey and Liz, I can’t say enough good about you two. My sister and I had such a blast in the salon, felt comfortable and just overall had a great experience. I cannot wait to see them again for the wedding, and I’m even more excited to see how well they do my bridesmaids makeup and hair. For something that I was so nervous for, this truly could not have gone better. From the initial contact, to the trial, I’m just so pleased. I’m so glad Zola pointed me in the direction of these ladies. Don’t hesitate if you are questioning to book them, DO IT! I can’t wait for my wedding...

My experience with Kelsey and her team at Beauty & Bridal Philly was everything I could have hoped for as an anxious bride who doesn't know the first thing about hair styling and makeup. I met Kelsey over the phone to see if she was the right fit and she immediately met me with confidence and put any of my worries (covering up acne, keeping a curl in my hair which does not like that, etc.) at ease. As we got closer to the wedding, my number of services kept changing as bridesmaids and family decided whether or not they wanted their hair & makeup done as well and Kelsey was able to accommodate every change I threw her way with grace and ease. She was incredibly easy to work with. About a month before the wedding, I met her for a trial and she executed my poorly explained vision PERFECTLY. I am not good at describing what I want in terms of hair & makeup but she still knew exactly what to do to make me look and feel gorgeous. (I forced my fiance to take me to dinner afterwards because the glam could not be wasted!) My favorite thing though, was her ability to chat and make me feel comfortable in the moment. I was so worried I wouldn't get along with my makeup artist, but Kelsey has a glowing personality and was so easy to talk to during the service. That more than anything convinced me not to worry on the big day. And on the wedding day, she delivered. I had poor weather, very misty & wet, and still forced everyone outside for the ceremony. My dress may have gotten muddy but my expertly done hair & makeup held strong and lasted the entire night. I found Kelsey after I had a disastrous trial with another hair and makeup vendor. From the moment I first spoke with her on the phone, Kelsey was incredibly sympathetic, kind, and immediately put me at ease. She asked questions to better understand why I didn't like my hair and makeup at the trial with the other vendor and reassured me that she would be able to create the look I desired.

At my trial, Kesley was attentive to detail, provided me with advice for how to get my skin ready for the wedding, and walked my mom and I through her process from start to finish. After my trial with Kelsey, I terminated my contract with the other vendor and booked her on the spot.

Booking with Kelsey and her team was hands down the best decision I made for my wedding. Kelsey was communicative, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She and her team did an exceptional job on mine, my bridal party's, and my mom's and mother in law's hair and makeup. No one looked cakey or overdone and our hair and makeup lasted all night despite us wreaking havoc on the dance floor.

Aside from being incredibly talented, Kelsey is also personable and fun-- my crew and I had a blast getting ready with her!
