I have been shopping at this store monthly at least 5 years now. This morning at 8 am an older man worker that works at the store felt the need to follow me around on each aisle during my entire shopping venture. Then at the register the cashier lady is talking so loud about unimportant things and not focused on checking me out, then she doesn’t do the card scanner correctly on her side and she acted like it was my fault and loudly stated that I didn’t do it right. The manager girl that wears the ball cap has the worst attitude and acts as if I am interrupting her from putting items on the shelf and stares at me and roll her eyes. Anyway, after I was able to finally check out, the older man worker was of course standing there watching me be checked out and states “oh u can push the cart outside with you if you need it”….the nerve of him to sate that but didn’t speak to me the entire time I was in there only watched me. I guess he realize I didn’t come there to steal. That was the worse shopping experience ever. This store struck a nerve this morning …..messed up my day. I will not go back there. I will choose another dollar tree for my...
Read moreThis is the biggest Dollar Tree I've found in Raleigh (the only one bigger is the one in Smithfield, that I know of), and they have a lot of cool things you wouldn't expect. I routinely go here for things like toothpaste, mouthwash, and other toiletries. They also have a lot on the medicine isle that surprised me. A 14 dose pack of generic Claritin for example...for a buck. A must stop for refilling your first aid kit, they have it all for cheap. I needed a small toothbrush for my dog (yes, my dog) and the children's toothbrushes at Walmart were $4 a pop. At Dollar Tree I got a 5 pack for a buck. They also have 5 packs of adult size toothbrushes with travel tops for a buck. I could go on and on. If you've never been, or it's been a few years since you've visited a Dollar Tree, check it out. You'll be surprised what you find. Yeah, there's the junk you'd expect, but there's also the stuff you didn't realize you were over paying for all these years. They even have a substantial grocery section with a lot...
Read moreSo yesterday was interesting, I went to this particular Dollar Tree to purchase bottles of water. There was a white lady who checked out two women that were together that was ahead of me. But oddly enough she looked at the black female cashier behind her and the black cashier came from her register and looked in my basket and said that she will take me over here. Now keep in mind I was the next person in line where it seems the white lady did not want to deal with me for whatever reason. So I go to the other line and I’m behind two more women with a bunch of stuff which was extremely inconvenient. So, I’m thinking that the white lady is getting off work or something… No she walks around the front grabs a few baskets and comes back and takes the white lady who was initially standing...
