I've been to this Cookout several times. Over the last couple of months, the quality of service has diminished greatly. I've noticed there are several young people working here and every time I come they are talking, laughing and not focused on their job. It's one big party depending on the time of day I go; especially at night. They are rude and lack good customer service. I came here one Friday night and my order was super easy. Before I ordered I waited at least five minutes and then another car pulled up and the cashier took there order though I had been waiting there. So when I placed my order, I asked for hush puppies and large coke. Super easy. When I arrived at the window I noticed the two guys were laughing and playing. When I asked the young man at the window why did it take so long for me to order when I was the only car in line before the other car showed up, he had no response. He offered me for to speak with the manager LeShun who wasn't any better. He was lacked empathy and was not concerned at all. As I began to drink my soda as I drove off, the soda was large diet coke instead of a regular coke. I called back and spoke to the manager again and explained, see this is what I was talking about when I was there. Your employees lack good customer service. I told him I wanted my money back.
When I returned to get my receipt, LeShun was not apologetic and told me to keep the hush puppies (which I threw in the trash). What a good manager would have done is refunded my money and made sure I received what ever hot food service I wanted. This was a quick stop on the way home until we made dinner.
I wont be going back here ever.
If you're in North Raleigh, go to Chick-fil-A. The service is always great and they are very professionalism and polite. They should be opening soon again since they...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I frequent this location for its convenience and close proximity to our home, however, today we had by far the WORST experience ever. We pulled into one of the lanes that seemed to have the least amount of cars thinking that it would be a quick and easy ordering process. It took about 15 minutes to get through the ordering process despite the fact that there was only 2 cars in front of us with small orders. When it came time for us to order we had the hardest time ordering even though our order was simple. We ended up repeating ourselves five or six times and still had to keep correcting the employee when they repeated the order back. While we were ordering, we noticed that the other lane had at least 10 cars order and move forward. It then took us another 10 minutes to actually get our food. All in all we spent 25 minutes in the drive-thru that wasn't actually busy which is nearly double the time it usually takes us. When we finally got home to eat, I was beyond disappointed with what I found in my box. The chicken wrap clearly was haphazardly thrown together. There was very little sauce on it and the chicken tender was a chicken patty that was merely cut in half. The usual melty and delicious cheese was barely melted and the tortilla was raw whereas normally it is cooked. The burger looked like it had half a patty and was so poorly assembled that it was literally falling apart. The steak sauce that was supposed to be on it was all over the wrapper and barely any of it was actually on the sandwich. The tomato on my boyfriend's sandwich tasted like it had already begun to rot. This was just overall a very disappointing experience from a normally well-run...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went through the drive through tonight on January 30 around 6 pm. My boyfriend was ordering a double cheese burger to which the employee on drive through responded “a tray or alone?” and he responded “tray.” the employee immediately got irritated and mumbled something about us giving her a second. It was very hard to hear what she was saying so we continued to wait. About 2-3 minutes went by with him repeatedly saying hello into the speaker so we decided to pull forward. When we got to the window she just stared at us to which I responded “Nobody was answering us at the speaker?” She immediately tells us that she isn’t from this store usually and she claimed that she repeatedly asked us what type of burger order it would be. She made us feel bad for trying to put in our order or as if it was our fault she wasn’t usually from this location? After finally ordering and her making us feel bad about each item we requested, my boyfriend asked her if they had any of the quesadilla sauce and she very obviously sighed, closed her eyes, and repeated that this isn’t her usual location and that she doesn’t know. He asked her if she could maybe ask somebody for the sauce so she did and they did in fact have the sauce. We both work in customer service and we understand working at a location that isn’t your usual place but the employee should never make a customer feel bad for trying to order something. We don’t want anything from this like a refund or coupon, we just want the employees to be educated about...
