I stumbled upon this bakery while in the area and said, "Let me give them a try." The setup is not ideal... it's like a walk-up window thingy... we had to ring a bell for service. Also, they dont distribute eating utensils... which is ok if you plan on not eating your slice in the car. If you do... bring a fork... lol Now let's get to reviewing the cake slices: tiramisu 7/10 Carrot Cake 6/10 Strawberry Lemon 8/10 I think they are over priced by $2.00. Would I try them again?... probably... if they have a BOGO deal.... because $9 bucks for a slice is a bit high to me. The front window staff was super nice and conversational, which was a pleasure.

I love this place. The cake has that truly homemade taste, not just a bunch of sugar. The strawberry cake is my favorite: moist, 3 layers, with just enough frosting. I had been back here several times, and it was delicious every time, so we ended up ordering several cakes from here for my wedding. It worked out great...we just got the plain ones, put them on some cake stands and put cake toppers on one of them. Our guests (and us!) loved them and some said it was the best wedding cake they ever had.

We LOVVVVVE Premier Cakes and highly recommend. My favorite is the Old Fashioned Yellow Cake w/ chocolate icing and the Italian Cream Cake...it's the best in town. Their cakes are light and fluffy, which we like. I removed a star because their business hours are extremely confined and they are often sold out of our favorite slices by 3pm. Because of this, we try other flavors and they're just as good too.

FYI: THIS PLACE IS TO GO ONLY (walk up to the store as if to go inside and you will notice a doorbell on the glass, once you hit the bell it will alert someone to come and take your order from a sliding glass window)

I tasted the cakes here for the first time today. They were delicious! The gentleman at the window was also very kind and helpful. Here is what we ordered and what we thought:

German chocolate- I am normally not a German chocolate cake fan but my mother wanted to try it. It was the BEST German chocolate cake I have ever had! Super moist, not too sweet and the coconut was well balanced and fresh tasting.

Pineapple upside down- lovely and moist

Hummingbird cake- typically hummingbird is usually my favorite however, the banana had a slight almost fermented banana taste (perhaps bananas were too ripe). Maybe it was an off day/batch so didn’t want to deduct a star for it.

FEEDBACK FOR OWNERS: Sorry you are dealing with staff shortage this must be frustrating. Perhaps I missed it in the store front signage or your google name if so I do apologize, however, it may be a nice touch to add the words “to go” to your store front signage and your google name if it’s possible. Some people that are on social drives with loved ones and looking for a place to sit in and have a sweet treat and some relaxing conversation may feel slightly bummed to realize it is just a to go bakery. Having “to go” somewhere in the signage could help set expectations. I do congratulate you folks because your cakes are phenomenal and your service is very...

The cakes were delicious (Strawberry, Sweet Potato). However, the customer service was below subpar and very disappointing. After asking the owner/ gentleman working the register on Thursday, August 2, 2018, if the sweet potato cake had nuts and being told blatantly NO, after sharing that I had a severe nut allergy. Once home and tasting the cakes, I immediately began to react and spat out noticing a walnut in the sweet potato cake. Causing several days of restricted breathing, treatments, medications and steroids. I decided to call and notify the owners on today, August 6, 2018, after a few days of recovery and treatment, as to what happened and received nothing but defensiveness and being blamed for not looking for notices that were none existent. After listening to the owner pass the blame to me, the customer. I shared that my intent was to make the owners aware of what had happened after being told the cake contained no nuts, and to possibly label the cakes that contained nuts due to many like me that suffers from servere allergies. But instead I received nothing but defensiveness, passing of blame and his history and memory of the ingredients in each cake. Even with the deathly allergic reaction, his response from a concerned patron is my reasoning for no longer supporting and sending others to patron. I could’ve lost my life and his only concern and statement was “you may not can hear”... extremely dissatisfied new and...

The male owner is THE WORST. Honestly, someone should ask him to NEVER deal with customers. It’s important to know your strengths and weakness and his strength is NOT customer service. He’s very abrasive and simply flat OUT RUDE. His wife Im told is the COMPLETE opposite and I know they used to have a female manager (not sure if she’s still there) who was awesome. The sweet potato cake is devine. My boyfriend brought me a red velvet cake, that was dry and the icing was too sweet. So, it really depends on what you get and the day you get it. My boyfriend loves this place, so I’ll probably order his birthday cake (lemon) from there this year. It will be my second attempt at doing so. The first time I called to order, his lemon birthday cake from this place, I simply asked what’s in it. Mind you, I had called another bakery before, who had NO problem explaining to me what was in their lemon cake. Well, the male owner acted as if I had asked for the specific recipe. He was SUPER RUDE. It was so awful, I decided to not spend my money there that year. However, this year, I’ll attempt to give this business another try, as my boyfriend says his wife is a true dear and the actual baker. My advice is if you call and get the male owner or walk in and he’s there - hang up and call later, or leave and come back later. The man...
