After my session at Skill Fitness Studio, I was extremely impressed by the friendly staff and their support throughout my class! They walked me through the sign-up process, helped me with my gear, and showed me where my cycle lane was. During the class, the instructor guided the participants through each workout—step-by-step—before we attempted it ourselves. This was really helpful, as it allowed me to understand how to approach the exercise before trying it myself.
I also appreciated that each set was carried out at a comfortable pace—neither too fast nor too slow.
As an additional benefit, it was great having modified workouts, as these provided suitable alternatives to the main exercises. Each of the participants were welcome to take a break at any point. Like our experience during the cycle session, we were shown how to complete the physical strength workouts—which occurred during the second half of the class—before we all participated together.
Overall, I was very pleased—and more than satisfied—with my experience at Skills! Their studio is definitely worth visiting if you’d like to workout among a group of great, caring...
Read moreI have taken a few classes here so far and they have all been really fun. I tried the ride class, Pilates and Strength, & PYT. The owner and the staff I've encountered have been so welcoming and helpful. The facility is beautiful! They have a nice lounge area, free lockers, free showers (with towels), free coffee, free sweat towels, and large bathrooms with some complimentary things you might have forgotten. There are also some snacks and drinks available for purchase. They will loan you shoes for free for the cycling class. This is the first time I've ever done cycling with the shoes that lock in since I don't own my own pair, and it was much better. There's 2 studios, the "ride" room and the "fit" room for the pilates and yoga type classes. They are kept dim with very cool ambient lighting effects in different colors. The instructors I took class with were knowledgeable and encouraging. There's plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. I'm excited to go back and try some of the other theme...
Read moreSk1ll Fitness formally Ritual Raleigh is back and better than before with a brand new studio offering a plethora of cycle and fitness group classes. As someone who struggles with finding the motivation to go to the gym and who dislikes the stigma centered around trendy fitness bars, what I love about this studio and their team is how inclusive the experience is. The “come as you are” slogan really gives meaning to their “As ONE team, we get better together”. You never feel uncomfortable or like you are competing during classes. The instructors really care and many have returned from the previous studio. Owner Misha, Chris, Aliah, Whitney and Bre love what they do and it shows. They really motivate you in a fun environment to be really be your best self.
The studio features 2 separate fitness rooms, 2 showers, lockers and a adorable little lounge area to relax. I am thrilled it’s within walking distance from home for me and I intend to stay consistent towards my...
