Visited the store today for the 1st time. I saw a huge 80% sign off as the store is moving to a new location, so I thought let’s see what kind of deals I can find. When I stepped into the store I was greeted by a polite security guard. As I stepped over to browse the selection a nice older sales lady came to greet me and my kiddos. She showed me a few pieces not rushing me nor making me uncomfortable, as she was very polite showing me the rubies and even made small talk with me. As I continued to look she left me and my two young daughters to it and not once did I feel as if I being overly watched. I love jewelry shopping and all the sparkling things, so yes I looked over the entire selection and let me tell you …. they had some beautiful pieces! As I went from case to case another sales associate, Kourtney Martin, showed me even more pieces. After trying on a few, I settled on a lovely pair of ruby and diamond studs that matched a birthday ring gifted to me a few years ago. Even after I made my selection, Ms. Martin continued to showcase the Gunderson gems! This one ring looked like it was fit for royalty! It was a beautiful gold and multi stoned red sapphire, I think she said it was a poison ring like from medieval times. It was so beautiful 😍 something I would never considering buying; it was the price of a new car 😂 But, this small kindness made my day and the way she didn’t dismiss my daughters when they asked about it and other gems. Needless to say, because of this very positive 1st experience, I would definitely return to make jewelry purchases in the future. Zales and Helzberg just lost a loyal customer. Thank you...

I have a sobriety bracelet that I bought from Zales and the clasp was lose and Zales refused to fix it due to the type of metal (titanium) which they sold me long story short I don't recommend Zales to anyone! I was going to Scheels one day and I seen Gunderson's so I swung in to see if they could help and which I was greeted by Jordan, and she took it back and the jeweler fixed it on the spot and didn't require payment or anything they ever offered me water numerous times while I waited. As I was leaving I was just so happy with the interaction that I decided to turn back around and speak to Jordan about some necklaces since I've kinda been in the market anyways. I had some old jewelry I wanted to trade in as well and they no joke offered me over fifteen times what I got offered from another jewelery store, anways I ended up ordering a necklace for over $3,000, this just goes to show that you should always treat any and all customers equally and with respect and Jordan definitely takes the cake in the customer service department, from the friendly greetings, to the phone calls and everything in between. I suggest everyone stop in and at least say hello, and if you can buy something from this amazing person, Cody the manager is also amazing, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and treated me like a friend so he deserves a shout out as well. Definitely recommend this store to anybody that's even considering purchasing jewelry of any sort or if you have some old stuff you want to get rid of. I've had my new necklace only a few days and I'm already back in contact to purchase a pendant...

Update: Another fun trip to Gunderson's Jewelers! The new store is stunning and the staff is friendly and helpful, as always. No jewelry store in Omaha or Lincoln compares to Gunderson's in product quality or customer service. They have many different designers to choose from so there is something for everyone. Gunderson's for Christmas!!!

If you want a fabalous shopping experience, try Gunderson's Jewelers. Only one word to describe them, "AWESOME." I had the best experience replacing my wedding ring. They took time to listen to what I wanted, communicated the time it would take to order the band and set the diamond. Nothing was left to question. The store itself is beautiful, warm and welcoming. The customer service is exceptional and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. We will shop at Gunderson's in the future and I hope you do too!

UPDATE Because Gundersons is so awesome I had them design a ring for me and it is stunning! Mark did an awesome job on the design and Lexi had the patience of a saint with all of the back-and-forth on the design. One thing is for sure, Lexi and Mark made sure it was exactly what we were looking for! At the same time, we also had one of the larger jewelry stores in Omaha give us a bid to build the ring so we could get a cost comparison - the salesman at that store was rude and treated us like we weren't rich enough to shop in their store.
