Having very mixed feelings about my appointment recently.
Wanted partial highlights and a cut. Did not book correctly on the website which is my fault, and booked for a color and cut (2 hour time block). When I arrived, the stylist let me know she couldnât do a haircut with the amount of time and what I wanted, I said no worries and was going to schedule a haircut for another day. We got started, I told her what I wanted and showed her the reference photos (two of which were my own hair). Towards the end of the session, before my hair was blow dried, she said âif you want me to add more highlights in when we do your haircut I canâ and once it was dry, I realized it wasnât quite what I wanted. I had told her I wanted very blended blonde, lived in, that would grow out nice and after the first session my roots towards the front were super blocky.
I came in a few days later on 9/28 and asked her to please add more highlights and blend it out. Told her I wanted some shorter strands of hair in the front for my bangs and then layers with 1 1/2-2 inches off (hair above the collar bone which she confirmed verbally). After she washed it and cut it, the length wasnât quite what I wanted but Iâm used to having more trimming done after the drying. She dried it, did the bangs and added some layering. After it was dried and there wasnât much of a trim, I asked if she could take more off and I was told that Iâd have to book and pay for an entire other haircut to have that done.
Iâm pretty bummed because I was very specific about the length and I had just shown her my photos and put the trust in herâŚ
She was super nice, the salon is super nice, and my hair doesnât look terrible but it wasnât what I asked for⌠the color I appreciate that she corrected and I can live with the way itâs colored now but Iâm pretty upset about the haircut.
My cut and partial highlights was $255 not including tip, which I feel like is a lot to not have the length...
Read moreDonât bother coming to Legends with any ideas or pictures of what you want your hair to do look like because theyâll do whatever they want and damage your hair. Worst experience Iâve ever had, terrible communication (itâd take her days and multiple attempts on my end to return my messages, she cancelled my original appointment 2 hours before (that was my sign from universe that I shouldâve avoided this place but I understood things come up and rescheduled because I needed my hair done).
I I wanted to go lighter, Emma ended up turning my hair orange, when she offered to retone it, it ended up dark brown, dry and smelled like Palmolive dish soap, the smell of their product was so nauseating.
I had to get so many conditioning treatments and luckily I was able to go to a more experienced stylist to restore my hair back to its original condition but it was not cheap.
Avoid Emma Lewis and Legends II at all costs. Donât waste your time, money, or integrity of...
