La Fiesta Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

People were nice but the food wasn't great for the price. Can get better food at Chipotle or even Del Taco. It just didn't seem that the food was fresh. The Carne asada nachos were meh... The meat was wayyy too fatty and chewy. Their cheese enchilada was good. I'm a suckers for good horchata, and this place didn't have the good stuff. Maybe it was this particular batch? I don't know but I'll not be returning to find out. If you're looking for good food, look elsewhere. If you're looking for super nice people, then this is the place.

I'm making an edit late at night... My whole family is suffering from the worst case of tummy ache from this horrid food. My 1 year old is moaning and suffering all night from this food. Beano can't save us from this horrid stench that has permuated the walls of this humble home. If I could borrow the time stone from Thanos and turn back time to just before dinner, I'd pick something else... Anything else. Like the fountain water from the fountain right outside the restaurant.

Save yourselves and pick something else. I honestly don't know how they got so many high stars? Maybe their food was great before and they have gone down hill?...

Still, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Rancho. Even though I don’t live around the area anymore, I still come up here for the delicious food.

My wife and I love it. The food is always fresh, tasty, full of flavor, amazing! They also offer a few different brands of beer and two choices of agua frescas. Horchata, Jamaica, and/or Tamarindo. All very good choices.

Love that they still offer outside seating as well as inside.

The cashier and all the inside personnel are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and quick.

Still a highly recommended Mexican restaurant!!

Their salsa is really good. We usually buy the salsa every time we go to any of our friend's house to eat. They all love it too.

The food is delicious and fresh as usual. You can seat inside or outside.

What a treat! Was back in town for family and realized I could get dinner here - yea! It’s been so many years… will it still be great?? YES! A Thursday evening and, happily per usual, the line to order was out the door. The food is that great! Really. I usually choose takeout and considering the fast pace and large volume of customers it’s incredible I have never had one single mistake made in over a decade. This is the only restaurant I can say that about. Their quality control is amazing. They have dine-in, lovely outside patio tables scattered around a beautiful courtyard and a gorgeous, lit fountain. Great casual ambiance. Plenty of free parking in this shopping center. You will order at counter; thereafter a sweet lady (who’s been there as long as I’ve known about this place) will bring your orders, and also check on you if outside.
