I have quite a few Invicta watches that when it was time to change the battery or get it sized I would bring to Precision time in Braintree which was a certified Invicta dealer/repair shop. Unfortunately they have closed. I've called around looking for a new place that works on Invictas or at least could change the battery. I called and spoke to a gentleman who I assume was the owner and asked specifically if they work on invictas for battery replacement to which he said yes of course. I came in with the watch and he was (for lack of better phrasing) concerned with the size of the watch. But took it in the back and changed the battery. It worked for the day. The next day I went to put on the watch and noticed the hour and minute hand were not moving. They were displaying 1:15 and it was 6 am. I bring the watch back to him. He quickly says he didnt do anything other than change the battery and I must have dropped or banged the watch. He then starts laughing at me and says that I should bring it back where I bought it. Mind you I told him Precision time was closed. To make things worse he has the audacity to ask if the watch is real puts, my watch on the counter almost dropping it and says good luck finding someone to...
Read moreOk! I’m not a review kinda person here.HOWEVER!!!, I’ve been doing business here with A Jewlers Workshop for a while now and when I see a service so great in quality, workmanship, and most of all their honesty which if you know anything about this business is A. Priceless and B. In todays world hard to come by. I feel as though I need to write a review on this store people because there are so many jewelry stores out there that will tell you anything you want to hear for the sake of a sale. I do not owe Gary at a jewlers workshop anything but a great review here! Why you may ask??? Because he is the best! I do not trust anybody to work on my stuff. I do trust Gary. Oh yes and let me say a few things on his custom hand made products ok? They are by far the best you will find anywhere and may I include that if you’re not sure what you need or want Gary has so many unbelievable creative ideas that will keep you coming back time and time again. I will not shop anywhere else after being introduced to Gary at A Jewlers workshop. Thank you for reading. And if you don’t trust anyone for gods sake trust...
Read moreI went in to see if the jeweler could fix a necklace. There were no other customers in the store. Before I could even get a full sentence out he began saying, "No, no, no I can't do that it will catch fire". I tried to explain it could be fixed without being saudered and attempted to show him how, but he cut me off. I don't have jewelry tools or the skills to fix it on my own, but I know it can be fixed and would do so on my own, but some things are better left to experts.
I strive to support small business but I will not return to this shop. The man was rude, spoke down to me, and treated me as though I were stupid (I am far from stupid). I will find someplace else to take my necklace, hopefully they will give me an opportunity to finish a sentence and if indeed the necklace cannot be repaired at least tell me that in a kind and...
