Haven't been here before, and I only stopped in for coffee, but the place has a refreshingly wide open dining area, honestly, the largest I've ever seen for a Thai place, so that's something to be said in itself.
More akin to a family dining experience at a Chinese restaurant, a la Kowloon.
The setting and decor is immaculate, with choices authentically Thai accompanied by soft jazz; a sitting area with some of the most beautiful Thailand sourced, carved benches and a plaque on the wall to match, and the spacing has a symmetrical way about it that mimics Asian sentiment beautifully.
I was welcomed by a sole waitress who was extremely polite and patient from what I could tell, and willing to suggest as I saw fit.
Overall, typical expectation of a Thai restaurant, was pleasantly surprised by the decor and spaciousness of the environment.
Check it out if you're in the area, really...
Read moreIf I hadn't have thai rolls for appetizers I would have starved. The lady who took my order I asked her if the tamarind duck was light meat she said nothing about it being dark meat which I don't eat. Only thing I enjoyed was another appetizers name veggie dumplings. My family and friends shared white rice and a few piece of beef. When I asked to exchange for shrimp I was told no quickly she understand that. Wouldn't recommend anyone going at all. It goes to show they know what you are saying but choose selective understanding that is convenient for them. No definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to go at all my niece it was her choice for her birthday. I definitely will decline if she chooses to go here for dinner. You make the customer happy she could have said if you pay half for the shrimp meal that be comprised so I...
Read moreCame here for a birthday and left thoroughly satiated. For appetizers we ordered chicken satay, thai rolls, and Thai wings (with extra peanut sauce ;). The apps came out quite quickly and were finished just as fast. The satay and wings were delicious and the rolls were above average.
For the main course, we got the sizzling seafood, chicken pad thai, malai fried rice (w chicken), and basil chicken. The fried rice was scrumptious (although I'm biased since thai fried rice is my fav food), pad thai was good, and the basil chicken was delectable with a superb crispness and delightful sauce. The sizzling seafood was exquisite, thought the squid was just a tad rubbery.
Finished with fried ice cream and a big smile. Great service, would...
