Five Guys Randolph, MA ... The very best!!! Food was beyond exceptional fare and the service both personal and charming! Clean, clean, clean! Samantha made our experience with her attentive demeanor and heartfelt caring! She went above and beyond to take my order and turn around and cook with the same positive attitude. It was a "to go" order and once we had enjoyed our meal in the car I wanted to come back in and tell her how much we loved everything. Poor Samantha thought I was returning to criticize an issue however, she returned to the register promptly to address whatever I had to say ...LOL this is what she related to me after. Samantha's smile could not have been any brighter and she just radiated when I explained how impressed we were with our meal and the overall encounter with Five Guys Randolph compared to Five Guys previously! The food makes a restaurant a success but ultimately it is the employees that are the very face behind the name. Keep Samantha happy ... owners of Randolph Five Guys and bounce her up to management in whatever capacity you have open! Samantha can go a long way in the hospitality profession if she chooses and will better serve front of the house where she will definitely charm your customers ! Whatever you decide Samantha we wish you the very best in your career! Live Life and enjoy your time with Five Guys !!! We will continue to frequent Five Guys and now that Samantha has set the bar higher than before, we will see if any other store can touch it !!! LOL Thanks...
Read moreOne thing about Five Guys, they have a good burger. Out of all the fast food places, nothing compares. It’s pricey but worth it as long as you’re willing to accept the poor customer service. Just last month I started to think the service was getting better. There was a really friendly cashier I’d never seen before and boy was she quick. she immediately made her way over to me as soon as I walked in the door and took my order. She was very suggestive and kind to me and my husband. She even convinced me to buy a milkshake, I didn’t want it but she was so nice and patient the whole time, I had to add a milkshake. So when I came in a few days ago, I never expected this bad level of customer service. I didn’t see the usual cashier, somebody else took my order and I don’t think she wanted to take it at all. At first she was in the kitchen, made eye contact with me and didn’t proceed to walk over to take my order. The store seemed understaffed and it seemed like they had a lot of orders but still the workers were too busy talking and cracking jokes, I felt like they got annoyed when I walked in as if I was interrupting something. When the young lady finally took my order I was rushed. I could barely understand her anyway. She went back to speaking in a different language with the other guy and barely paid attention to us. Nobody noticed the new customers that walked in. I waited a long time for my food even my husband was upset. I only gave 2 stars because the burger was good but I won’t be coming to this...
Read more4/12 Update: I am so disgusted!!! I went in to Five Guys around 9:15pm or so, on 4/12, to get a burger. The staff was very short with me because I didn't want that lonely looking hamburger bun. The store was empty so I didn't know how long it had been sitting there. And the grill had dried up hamburger remnants that I asked them to remove but the lady ignored me and still put the burger on the grill. Then when I said something, the guy/cashier started telling me that there's nothing wrong with it. Whatever happened to customer service.
The real problem though was the manager. He made himself a sandwich, and ate it at one of the nearby tables. He used napkins to wipe his nose, then used the same napkins to wipe the table!!! I almost fell out!!!!! Then he had the nerve to wipe his nose again with the back of his hand. Its sucks if he was the one forming the patties, as he was working in the back, not front of store.
He should be fired!! Especially with Covid. He's setting a poor example for his employees too. Maybe that's why the cashier had no problem with being rude to me.
Whoever owns this location should be more careful about who they hire, else they could end up on the receiving end of a law suit. If I get sick in the next few days there will be hell to pay, believe that. I had already ate most of the sandwich before the manager did his nastiness.
I never want anyone to loose their job, but you need to fire that nasty old man!!!
