I purchased cucumbers from AFB Randolph at 8 am on May 22 and by May 23 one of the cucumbers developed mildew on them. I decided to return them to AFB in Randolph. When I arrived at the location I went to the service desk and was instructed by the employee behind the counter to go find the store manager by the name of Francene. I found the manager explained to that instructed to see her about my return. I was told that the store does not offer any refundd but I could go and replace my cucumbers for better ones. I blatantly told the manager I do not want to replace my items only would like to get back my money. She walked back to the service desk and asked the employee to write me a rain check for $2.38. I rather drive to West Roxbury and do my grocery shopping at Sudbury Farms than to be subjected to this overpriced store. It appears that AFB Randolph location kept the higher prices in the computer system from the acquisition of the Brothers Supermarket. Please check and compare your prices to some of the other AFB in the surrounding Boston area before u absolutely decide to shop in the...
Read moreI rarely grocery shop at America's Food Basket, but it's good that I can find certain products there from the Caribbean when I need them. I've gotten there as early as 10:30 a.m. and the food was there, but that was an exception. It seems that the average time that all of the food will be there is around 11:30 a.m. This food spot is very popular and the food is tasty. Bring your own shopping bag to secure your purchase or pay 10 cents per bag at the checkout. If you cannot wait until you get home to eat, tables and chairs are available near the food. Don't forget to grab...
