Angelica's Boutique — Local services in Rapid City

Humiliated and degraded! My daughter and I work pretty hard at our jobs and saved up enough money to go into Angelica’s and spend it on some better quality “different than what we have” clothes. She was in sweats (for trying clothes on easier) and I was in jeans and a ball cap. Granted, we were dressed down, but that’s what we do when we go town to try clothes on. We weren’t in the store even five minutes looking at clothes and the owner came to us and said that she had a clearance rack in the back if we wanted to look at that instead 😳 Along with this, there were two more shoppers in there and one of them said quite loudly how she just doesn’t understand or like young kids these days when all they ever do is wear sweatpants everywhere. I just thought it was rude. I am a big enough person to admit that the owner probably didn’t mean her comment the way that I took it but I feel like she should have been a little more sensitive and just let us shop. We actually had quite a bit of money to drop in her boutique and were willing to spend the money that it costs to buy her clothes but after the owners comment and the other shoppers comment, we walked out and spent our money elsewhere.
