Super 1 Foods — Local services in Rathdrum

When this store first opened, it was great. But over the years, it has gotten worse and worse. Every time I go in there, there are different people working there than before because of the high turn over. Because I live so close, sometimes I either have the choice to go there for the two items I need or drive out to Walmart. The last time I was in there, I got a watermelon that was so obviously frozen before, I got an expired candy bar, and expired egg roll wraps. You will not see one person smiling who works there. I work in customer service and we are told we must smile and have small talk with every customer to keep them because they can go somewhere else to get what they want. If we are nice then we have something the competition doesn't. They do not smile at this Super 1 Foods. They won't even look you in the eye either, they just want get you out of there and it is obvious. I also used to get Money orders there. I used my debit card to purchase them because they never said otherwise. A month later, I went to get another from the same man who did it the last time. He told me I could not use my debit card and whoever did it last time shouldn't have. He asked me who did it last time for me and since I did not want to embarrass him in front of the line behind me I said I didn't remember. (In hindsight, I should have just said it, because he was rude) Location wise, they are good. Everything else? I might just start going to Walmart 15...

People were super nice and helpful and it’s clean then I get to the register and register lady 1008 wan not paying attention and when she didn’t run my card right had to put me on blast 💥 like learn how to be more Discrete about peoples Personal things !! Very overpriced. On more than one occasion, I've gone to this store and have gotten charged higher than whats listed as the price. When I've politely confronted the clerks they tell me I must have picked up a product that was in the wrong spot, or that the price is the same as something else they are ringing it up as. There is a checker there that rings up yellow onions as sweet onions and then insists that they are the same price when they are in fact not. Instead of investigating these instances for themselves, my wife ran back and took a picture to show the clerk nicely that the prices don't match. Its embarrassing to hold up a line when you're just trying to get the correct price. Especially when the price is high already. Go to Winco and get more for your money and...
