Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Rathdrum

This is usually my families go to place to Grab ice cream on occasion and it is normally pretty good. However, this evening we went to get blizzards for everyone, and the drive-through wait was unusually long. Once I got to the window, I was greeted very rudely by a young girl who took our order. The blizzards were not only smaller than normal, I believe she gave us smalls instead of mediums unless they have downsized their mediums, then when I politely asked for a cup holder (we had ordered several blizzards), she got irritated, rolled her eyes, grabbed the blizzard back from me, shoved them in the cupholder, and then basically threw it in my face. Went home and every single blizzard that we ordered Was unmixed and didn’t have half of the ingredients that were supposed to be in the different blizzards. So, I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this was the most unsatisfactory trip I’ve ever made to this DQ. With Covid-19 I understand why they chose not to open the lobby but what I do not understand is why I get hung up on when trying to call them.

How they are doing Doordash and making you go through the drive thru to pick it up is making the food cold before it even gets to the customer. I would understand if they were not telling you to pull to the side and they didn't bring the food to you but they are.

I understand your busy but if you're making online orders go through the drive thru then you're hurting the customers online and at the drive thru. This makes needless traffic congestion that goes out into the road, longer wait times on food and also poor quality food for online orders.

You are already bringing the doordash food out why not use that phone and have spots for them to park and call to let you know they are ready to pick the food up. Your drive thru orders would also go...

Went through the drive thru and ordered the new dipped cone (the menu literally said try our new dipped cone, no flavor name), cheese curds, and a blizzard. Didn’t have to wait too long but was handed a chocolate cone and I said is this the new flavor and the lady helping seemed exasperated and said no it’s chocolate and I explained I ordered the new cone (while ordering I couldn’t remember the name so I said and I quote “can I get the new dipped cone, small”. She took it back and gave me the cheese curds while we waited. A new girl came out and handed it to me saying extremely rudely and full of attitude “it’s called cookie crunch not hersheys” I replied I didn’t say hersheys I said the new dipped cone and she said oh well I heard hersheys and didn't say anything else.
