1st time I've visited this adorable, new local eatery. This place bodes great ambiance, beer/ wine and impeccable, warm, welcoming service, for starters. Then you get to this unique menu, comprised of a beautiful marriage between classic PacNW and Southern Creole comfort cuisine. My friend had wild Alaskan rockfish, fish n chips. (I've never had rock fish for fish-and-chips before, this was just divine!!) Also, their coleslaw was incredibly fresh, mild and crunchy! Just perfect!! I had the smoked salmon club, on toasted sourdough, featuring a caper aioli that's to die for! Next time I plan on trying the jambalaya and smoked salmon hush puppies, possibly even a shrimp po boy or the shrimp and grits if my tummy can find the room. Just so many delicious options I'm excited to try. Great soul andcomfort foods... Don't walk here people, RUN!!! I look forward to many more meals here! Thank you Steven for bringing your culinary...
Read moreThis is the real deal for fish! Fish On offers an interesting menu with a Cajun touch, designed and cooked up for you by the Chef previously from Fleur de Sol! We were there for opening day and enjoyed the Octopus Carpaccio, some outstanding Jambalaya as well as really fresh, tender poke with rice and a creamy, flavorful dressing. There's a lot of deep fried items on the menu (check out the deep fried artichoke hearts!) but Steven assured us that most items can be sautéed or grilled by request.
Owner, bartender and front-of-the-house man Steven is the perfect host: welcoming, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the unique experience he's opened up to our little community. The restaurant is cosy, friendly and fun, furnished and decorated by Steven's artistic family. It's a perfect spot for a laid back meal, a few handcrafted brews, and time with friends and family. We are already planning our...
Read moreMy wife has been on the search for the best fish n chips meal for months. We needed groceries from super one as well as some wood from the hardware store. She noticed the fish on restuarant and was immediately excited to try it. The owner was very nice and the atmosphere was perfect. I had a appetizer because I wasn't that hungry. She ordered the fish n chips and as soon as she saw and tasted it I knew that this would be our new favorite place! Unfortunately 5 hours later she was throwing up and other things for the rest of the night and was in bed the entire next day. I realize accidents happen. But I think they should step back and take a look at what steps they are making to keep people safe. I don't see us going back...
