Pop Culture Cards Comics and Games — Local services in Raymond

I used to really enjoy this store. Recently I came in and purchesed one of their "POP BOXS" (a lootcrate/mystery box) I asked some guy what's the deal with it. He said that its $25, and everything in the box is worth $50. I bought a Star Wars themed box. Excitement filled my heart and I was so gitty upon opening the box. I was almost immediately disappointed. Everything, with the exeption of a funko pop, was worthless. You could tell that everything included in the box was items that had sit on shelves for a long time. And they put NEW price stickers on the items to make them seem like they're worth more than they really were. This was apparent when they put a 6.99 sticker right on top of a 3.99 sticker. The 6.99 sticker matched all the other price stickers, so to an untrained eye, it looked as though everything adds up to exactly $50, (Which, it didn't). Literally everything in the box was WAY over priced. Including 2 REPRINT comics, a Pop figure, 2 worthless figures (the cards were practically destroyed) an Anikan Skywalker child watch and a pin. "$50". Sure. Okay 👌🏻 Such a waste of time and money. I'll never come in again, any new customer; beware. The ONLY nice thing about the store is all the comics are bagged and boarded. It was Free 🆓 Comic Book Day 2024, May the 4th Be With You, and this comic book shoppe has been on my bucket 🪣 list to visit for awhile. The Hippo 🦛 Press 📰 newspaper mentioned that they were participating and I came here because they are open late. I learned about them from visiting the Subway sandwich 🥪 franchise that is located next to Pop Culture. A good 👍 selection of comics, collectables, manga, graphic novels, collectors editions and gaming material. They have a large game room for those into games like Dungeons and Dragons or Pokemon. Even though Free 🆓 Comic Book Day technically ended, they let me take out as many comics as I wanted. I bought a comic book and had a little sticker shock 🫨 at the prices today. We stumbled upon this store following a recommendation from another local game store, and it's truly a hidden treasure! They offer an impressive range of collectibles, Pokémon cards, RPGs, and much more. The selection is great, and the prices are very competitive.

What truly sets the store apart is the superb customer service and various community/product events. The employees are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and helpful. We also love the Pokémon league that the store hosts on Sundays. The Pokemon league events at the store are a ton of fun (for kids and adults alike) and a great way to learn to play or hone your skills.

This store is a real gem for role play games, collectibles, and pop culture enthusiasts. Can’t say enough...
