Hannaford — Local services in Raymond

I don't know where the store thinks they're located maybe Beverly hills. But I would think with their Beverly Hill prices there would be somebody in the aisle but I've never seen anyone in the 20 years I've lived here that could maybe tell you where something is if you couldn't find it maybe 20 years ago there was one or two but now try finding one. Cashiers oh I guess there's one I guess they're taking after Walmart now where we have self checkouts and no cashiers Nice taking jobs away from people and what if you don't want to do a self checkout if I want to be a cashier I would. Not to mention you're completely overpriced completely outrageous ridiculous prices oh yes and then there's during the summer when they know pine acres is packed and all the campers shop there but do you think they would order extra stock or stock the shelves no I guess the rest of us will just get what's left over I don't think so market basket all the way I had to take a cart that drives because I had an injured knee the nice bagger told me I could take it outside the cashier yelled no you can't I said okay no problem I go to market basket they put the food in the front of the cart in my bags. Oh yes and the nice bagger as the cashier suggested follows me to my vehicle and he offloads my groceries into my trunk well that's customer service for you they have plenty of cashiers I know it's an extra two exits up but it's...

Store is clean and ordered. Employees that I met are friendly. Prices are not as competitive as Market Basket or Walmart. I only shop there when I am in a pinch. They have online ordering/pick up. Update: Saturday evening 🌆, February 2021; I remembered I had a discount coupon from Hannaford's app and I was in the area. Same service and selection, though, I think the deli area serves made to order hot food. A sign saying they serve stir fry. I like their produce section. Energy saving motion detection lights in their freezer and dairy section. Sushi 🍣 section was empty. Self serve check out. Customer service has a register. RedBOX available. Also a pharmacy. Update: Saturday afternoon, March 2021; I was in the area and I had discounts through the Hannaford app that were going to expire. I went through the Customer Service checkout line and the discounts didn't work though I followed the instructions the associate and app gave me. I called the Hannaford help line and they called the Hannaford store manager. He said come in and they would take care of it. The front end supervisor gave me a $5 gift card though my discounts totalled $4.50. I was told that the extra was for the inconvenience I experienced. That was considerate. This hannaford is one of the older Hannaford stores in this area. However, that is not a judgment on the store. This Hannaford is just as pleasant to shop at as newer stores. The produce and meat selection is always varied and of high quality. The biggest benefit to shopping at Hannaford is their rewards program. 2% cash back on store brand items ane autoprinting coupons for items you actually buy. For a long time, the market basket had the grocery game covered with their lower prices. However, since Hannaford introduced their rewards, there is no benefit to the shopping market basket. Besides the point market basket is stuck in the past with their draconian dress code , their refusal to install self checkout and their lack of consistency in meats and produce.
