Raymond Town Hall — Local services in Raymond

No one likes to pay New Hampshire property tax. The schools "love" to bleed the homeowner for every penny. To add to misery the schools always say they need more money. Now register your new car and pay out a much bigger registration fee while the older sh#$ box pays almost nothing. I know I'm ranting about New Hampshire tax law for (40 years} but I feel better doing it. Things need to change in New Hampshire and that doesnt mean new TAXES! That being said I always have a friendly contact with the people who work behind the window at the town clerk's office. Friendly and helpful. I know it's a thankless job....

People that work the counter and process everything are literally the most unintelligent people that work in this town and are not willing to work with anybody. I work early in the morning and I don’t usually get out until after 5pm but I moved my schedule around so I can make it to the clerks office by the time they close and just because they were dealing with somebody else and that time was going to push past closing time they wouldn’t help me register my truck that would literally take less than five minutes. Recommend registering online so you don’t have to deal with stupidity...

Hopefully you don’t need a building inspector to come by anytime soon because they won’t. Left multiple messages and was assured someone would come by my apartment that is literally falling apart and also side note 30 seconds away from the office, but no. No call back no show no nothing. Would rate negative if I could, won’t waste my time even more trying to get ahold of these...
