Long Branch Restaurant — Restaurant in Raymond

We went here for breakfast and it must have been the waitress serving our section’s (about 6 or so tables) first day. She was confused, literally walking in circles and the worst is that she was soaked in sweat. I’m not talking about a glistening brow type sweat, she was dripping with sweat, continually wiping her face with napkins and her shirt was soaked with sweat. Entirely and thoroughly soaked through like she just stood in the shower. Every patron in her section was empathetic to her situation, but there were folks that were waiting so long for a menu, they got up, mentioned a few words to her, and got their own. We watched another couple pay for their order and leave after barely touching the food. My wife actually brought a neighboring table some ketchup. This waitress may be the kindest woman in the world, but there is NO WAY she should be handling peoples food. We watched her actually hugging food and drinks to her sweat soaked shirt as she was delivering them to the table. Needless to say we were less than hungry to eat our very mediocre breakfast. Toast was soggy, veggie omelet was a pile of limp “stuff”with barely any egg and the sausage was charcoal on one side. Horrible service, been here before, thought I would give it another try, well I thought wrong, place was busy, and that's good, you would think... well walked in, we waited for a table, fill house 3 tables open but not cleaned off, as we waited, servers kept walking past us, looked at us, not one hello, or be right with you,we were told to sit at a dirty table and they would come to clean it, they did clean off dirty dishes, but after about 10 mins we grab a rag and cleaned our own table, 20 mins later we got our drink order in 45 mins later we got the drinks...... 1 hour later we got our breakfast, one if us had a broken cup crack all the way down, water was pouring out, our table was a mess, I had to remind them 4 times we needed a new cup, Not one person was friendly, people were walking out from no service, no one said sorry for the wait as people were walking out, no eye contact while ordering food was there a few years ago, and service was good but the last two time were really bad, lost a customer, you work for tips, act like you like your customers or you will no longer have them, Busy...

A friend of mine wanted to eat here and I could see 🙈 why. Friendly service, good 👍 food and ☕ coffee with refills, looks nice inside and comfortable seating. Our hostess, with the Massachusetts accent, was checking on her customers making sure they were enjoying their meals and having plenty of coffee. I had the Corned Beef 🍖 Hash, 🥚 Eggs (scrambled )and Toast (sourdough) and my friend, he just asked for eggs sunny side up with a side of fruit and sourdough toast. We enjoyed our breakfast 🍳!
