""ANOTHER BLACK ATTACK""
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY That I Allow Myself To Have Another Uncomfortable Experience Without Informing Upper Management/Corporate. This one star is for the pharmacy especially Tiffany! She's always professional, patient and understanding. This one star is for every associate that works self check with consistency and positive attitudes. This one star is also for every cashier. My frustration stems from each and every associate working customer service, management and loss prevention. I'm not sure if it's my attire or the fact that my frequent visits automatically allows me to fit the criteria of a theif or someone who needs to be tailed by obvious undercovers coupled with surveillance... how would I know this is the case in this particular instance?!?! Because I myself am former law enforcement (M.P.O) . For months I have been gathering the names of each associate that has blatantly disrespected me slamming my changes on the customer service desk, allowing customers to move around me in the customer service line as if I weren't standing there, eye rolls and side conversations directed toward me at my entrance and other low brow behavior. I once made daily visits seeing as though it's the closest grocery store near my residence but I am now triggered at the entrance. By all means DO YOUR JOB! If you suspect suspicious behavior in myself and/or other customers do what you need to do to secure but be professional enough not to trigger and bring discomfort to loyal customers. I am a woman and I don't take being tailed by strange men lightly especially near the Holidays. It makes me feel at risk and puts them in a position where there could be potential risks for them (please consider that) . Usually I would use other methods of conflict resolution or overlook the matter all together but at this point it's redundant. One final thought I'd like to leave you with! for every minute you spend monitoring and profiling the wrong one, the right one is...
Read moreThis location is beyond frustrating. Itâs the only giant I have issues redeeming my wic benefits at which seems more now like a system issue and the store managers either not tagging correctly (some wic elegible items donât say wic) and/or not updating the system itself with whatâs eligible. Itâs beyond frustrating when grabbing milk goes from 5 minute trip to 30 because youâre going back and forth with supervisors who donât know how wic works. I understand if the system doesnât let it pass they canât override it but again, it comes down to the management and whatâs being processed in the system on their end. How come a half gallon of X milk goes through at aspen hill but not flower hill and this is my home base location? Same company should be same experience, I say this as a General Manager for a fast casual chain restaurant. Further more, when I told the lady Alana is her name I think like hey this milk passes even though itâs not labeled WIC she just passively says ok as if to get me to move along itâs clear no changes will be made. The ports along the east coast are closed Iâm not sure any company can afford to lose a customer at the moment -my WIC is usually paired with a $150+ grocery purchase but I can take my money elsewhere and redeem my benefits with no pushback or issues. I would also like to piggyback on a another review I saw here, either hire more cashiers and open lanes or trust the customers you have doing your jobs at self checkout to do it right. I shouldnât be asked whatâs in my bag or proof of receipt at the door. After I pay for it, itâs mine. The company has already instructed all locations to close 1 entrance and exit for...
Read moreThe staff are great, always super friendly and professional. The selection is good, but theres a lot of product tampering at this location. Someone opened the bag and jabbed a finger into this bread hard enough a piece of the inner plastic bag snapped off in it. It looked fine from the outside. I was trying to make a sandwich for my toddlers, but now I'll be tossing the loaf. This happens to me every other trip with something. I usually catch things at checkout and have to run back for an unopened item. Toothpaste, bread, storage bags, cereal bars, milk. Theres also a problem with the ice cream aisle. Either customers are leaving doors open, hanging out with the doors open (likely) or the freezer in the main case may need servicing. I've had to just stop buying ice cream from this location because half the time its so freezer burned and clearly melted and refrozen its inedible. I've noticed the ice cream on the end caps are always reliably fine. I don't really know what can be done to stop customers from messing with product, it has to be frustrating for the staff, but its worth taking a second glance over anything you pick up when you shop here. Especially bread. I think this is the 4th loaf from this location I've picked up thats been tampered with. đđ Some people need a hobby.
*update 3/17 the ice cream is still a huge problem. I watched a staff member restocking(?) ice cream in that aisle and she was just standing there with the freezer door open. Not stocking anything, her cart was empty. Just standing there with the door open. I got these off the end cap, because I had good luck in the...
