Kabob and Karahi: A Culinary Gem

If you’re searching for a dining experience that combines exquisite flavors, warm hospitality, and unbeatable value, look no further than Kabob and Karahi. This place is a treasure trove of authentic dishes that leave you craving more with every bite.

Every item on the menu is a masterpiece, but you simply cannot go wrong with the Chicken Boti. Tender, perfectly spiced, and bursting with flavor, it’s a dish that epitomizes everything great about this restaurant. Pair it with their soft, buttery garlic naan, and you’ll have a meal that’s nothing short of perfection. Trust me, skipping the naan here would be a mistake!

What truly elevates Kabob and Karahi is the inviting atmosphere. The decor strikes the perfect balance between modern and traditional, creating a cozy space where you can savor your meal. The staff are exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about providing a top-notch dining experience. Their pride in their craft is evident in both the food and the service.

And let’s talk about the prices—remarkably reasonable for the quality and portions you get. Whether you’re dining solo or with a group, you’ll leave with your wallet and stomach equally happy.

Kabob and Karahi isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. From the delightful dishes to the incredible staff, every visit feels like a special occasion. Highly...

A Delightful Culinary Journey at Kabob and Karahi

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Kabob and Karahi on Flower Hills Ave, Gaithersburg, and I must say, it’s a fantastic addition to the area. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful interior décor—modern yet warm and inviting. The facility was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The menu offers a wide variety of South Asian cuisine, and everything is made fresh to order. I was particularly impressed by their weekend specials, which include traditional dishes like Haleem, Paya, and Nihari. The Biryani, a rice delicacy renowned for its rich taste and aromatic flavors, was absolutely divine. Their selection of BBQ and grilled items is also outstanding, each dish bursting with authentic flavors.

Kabob and Karahi is truly a gem in the locality, offering food enthusiasts a new place to indulge in exquisite South Asian cuisine. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and authentic meal in a...

UPDATE: I have had the food twice (tasted 4 dishes, 2 vegetarian, 2 of them the daily special) since the initial review. Food was excellent, plentiful and good value for the money. It would be a 5 star review, except for the many two portion\person dishes. While the aim is family style dining, is this the local clientele near Flower Hill? ORIGINAL REVIEW: Disappointed\ing without even the food. Went in and asked for the butter paneer special = one portion, not the standard two person dish) which is in the menu photographed under the Google maps menu button. Cashier said it was a mistake but he could do vege sides platter as no other vegeetarian special today Saturday). I asked could he do a one person butter paneer but was refused. I was surprised at the [short sighted] lack of flexibility, especially in a restaurant's first days. I cancelled the other meated dish and left. Very few vegetarian options (most are only on specific days). The two person dish requirement also excludes people living\dining alone from full menu choice or where two patrons don't want...

I eat here once a week now and have brought family and friends. Portions are generous, food very fresh and flavorful. Staff were friendly and patient while I was learning the menu, offering guidance and encouraging new dishes. I haven’t had an item I haven’t enjoyed. Keep in mind they’re grilling fresh if you aren’t getting the special so it takes a little time. If you have the time, come in for the karahi experience. Lunch specials daily that typically include rice, chickpeas or lentils, maybe a veggie, and a meat of some kind. I’ve had multiple meals under $20 with tip but you can get extras that add up. Recommend the garlic tandoori bread over the regular but that’s preference. Mango sago is tasty when available. Not as sweet as others I’ve had, which is nice. I’ve had lamb, goat, chicken, beef, and fish. Zero complaints.

What a hidden gem, friends and I found the restaurant late at night by pure chance. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is extremely friendly. Saw a family already sitting at a table and all the dishes looked absolutely mouth-watering. At the same time the server brought to that table a stack of freshly made naan. And when I say it was a sight to behold, all the naan were so thick and so fluffy, my friends and I just looked on in awe. Got the lamb kabob and it was the best dang kabob I've ever gotten. It came with a delicious chickpea curry over a bed of flavorful rice, with fresh greens, and oh the naan! Was so good. Had to come back again with family today. Better than all the restaurants I've tried in Bethesda, and so budget friendly too.
