I am writing this review to HOPEFULLY Get the attention of the BuySpry customer service team. I ordered an Ipad Air 4th generation and spent $450 through Groupon, which BuySpry sells on. The unit arrived defective whereas if you charged it to 100% it would reboot after a few moments and show it was down to zero. No matter what the charge level is, it will do this. This was supposed to have been refurbished but the way they packed it with minimal packing, literally a bubble mailer wrapped with some bubble wrap sliding around in a larger box might have jostled something loose. I bought this for my wife for mothers day and she was very dissappointed. When I called the number on their website THAT Does not work, says they are sorry but the phone number is not working or something to that affect, STRIKE 1. I then go to their "live chat feature" which is nothing more than a ticketing system, for $450 I EXPECT To speak with someone live about this issue, STRIKE 2. I then am forced to email them and its been almost 24 hours and no response. Pathetic. STRIKE 3. At this point I am expecting a tested replacement in the color of my choice ( I ordered the blue since the pink was $50 more) and no extra cost to me. I will be happy to change this review ONCE I get some response and my issue is satisfactorily addressed. Right now I am unable to recommend this company for anything and to not have a phone number where i can speak with someone to resolve my issue after spending $450 I would recommend staying away FAR AWAY and buy from a company you can SPEAK with with your issue and not have to wait 24 hours for a response only to get a trouble shooting or whatever. I EXPECT A RESPONSE NOW after someone reads this from BuySpry. Wow all you could do is put a STOCK response? If you REALLY Cared you would be getting a hold of me right now to get this sorted out. If you have time to respond to this you have time to take care of my issue.
5/17/23: Been almost 24 hours and no email response, no phone call. Frustrated beyond belief of lack of response. 5/19/23: Still no resolution was told to work through Groupon since that is where it was purchased. Spent a day resending the same pics to this email through support and no verification that it was received. Still no response today after they have everything I believe they wanted. I went back to the payment source and have filed contested charge on my CC. One way or the other I will get this non working, horribly packed item back so I can get my money back. I hope BuySpry is reading this and I HOPE YOU are reading this so you think twice about buying from BuySpry. No phone number, slow or no response. TERRIBLE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently placed an order for a pre-owned Apple wireless keyboard for my Mac. I'm a person who is VERY particular about my possessions and especially about cleanliness. When I looked at the keyboard on their eBay store it was rated as being in 'Grade A' condition. That was also corroborated by the keyboard's appearance in the photos that were also posted in their eBay listing. Knowing myself I figured that I'd probably have to give it a little cleaning once it arrived (I dislike typing on a dirty keyboard) so I decided to buy it - and I'm so glad I did.
The item arrived quickly and was extremely well packaged in a way that appeared to be done by a professional. But the real surprise was when I opened the packaging and saw the product - IT LITERALLY LOOKED LIKE NEW - so much so that I decided it didn't need a cleaning at all (just a little disinfecting which I do with anything I receive in the mail due to the ongoing issues with COVID.
I was further pleased to also find that the keyboard, once paired with my Mac, worked flawlessly.
With the way the world is nowadays it has become the exception rather than the rule when a business transaction goes smoothly and as promised/expected - and in this way the seller did not disappoint. What a pleasant and refreshing experience to find that there are still people that take care and pride in their work.
Thank you so much for my terrific and beautiful 'new' keyboard - you've earned a new loyal customer.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a Macbook Air from BestBuy Canada, expecting a "certified refurbished" item that was in "9/10" condition. I thought purchasing this from an established retailer such as BestBuy would be a reasonable option, unlike picking up a used item from Craigslist or Kijiji. I was wrong.
This item came Sept 19, 2021 and I kept it as a Christmas gift for my son. We opened it Dec 25 to discover the battery does not hold a charge. I contacted BestBuy, who explained this product was sold by a "marketplace" seller (i.e. not directly through BestBuy). So I contacted the seller "BuySpry". They have explained that they only have a 90 day warranty, so I have missed the warranty period by 6 days. To repair this on my own is $400 (shocking, given the computer cost $700). So, my son is left with a laptop that only works if plugged in - not going to work for school.
I've also contacted this company BuySpry again, which is based in USA (not some far flung location with no standards). Waiting to hear if they can explain what "certified refurbished" means to them, and how this product can be rated 9/10 - obviously no response yet and not expecting a response.
Looking at reviews of similar laptops sold from this company, I've seen similar complaints of refurbished laptops that don't hold a charge. I would suggest not purchasing such items from this company.
Overall, disappointed in the product and...
