Cake Buzz — Restaurant in Redondo Beach

Do you love cake? Do you love alcohol? What if I told you, you could have both in one bite!? Guess what, you can!!!!!! Yes, people, you can have your alcohol and eat it too! I've always driven past Cake Buzz and told myself I need to check them out one day. I never did :( But one random day, a friend of ours brought us a mini can't from Cake Buzz called the Southern Situation. It was a cake with Hennessey and Butterscotch Schnapps. It was soooooo delicious! I was sad that it was a mini size because I wanted more. Even my hubby liked it! I knew I needed to get this for his birthday. So I ordered a medium-size cake which is 7-inches. I ordered and paid ($75) over the phone with no problems. When I picked it up, it was ready, and I was in and out. Both the ladies there were very friendly and nice. Once it was time to eat the cake, everyone enjoyed it, and they all asked where it was from. Yay!

I had driven past this bakery several times and always wanted to try their cakes. It was my chingona bestie's birthday so I decided to get her a cake for her party. I consulted with another bestie and we decided on the Strawberry Screamsicle. I first emailed to inquire how to place the order. Grace got right back to me and she was super helpful. My husband and I had been so curious about this place—what exactly is CakeBuzz? We drive past it every time we head to Sprouts, and we finally decided to look it up. We were amazed by all the 5-star reviews. After visiting, I can absolutely see why!

The customer service was truly exceptional—some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Since it was my first time, they offered me samples of several cakes, and every single one was incredible. Honestly, some of the best cake I’ve ever tasted.
