Russo By the Sea — Local services in Rehoboth Beach

We finally tried Russo By the Sea for lunch today. If you haven't been there yet you really need to try them!The staff and owners greeted us warmly and everyone is so friendly. Nice selection of sandwiches and pizza all freshly made. We tried the Mama Meatball. Now that's a meatball! And the Chicken pannini along with a slice of pizza! Meatballs were tender with a generous portion of mozzarella cheese. We weren't disappointed. The chicken was so tender and delicious. The pizza crust was firm and cheese was quality cheese and not greasy. Can't wait to try all the other offerings as another patron was eating an Italian and remarked how delicious the sandwich is. We also purchased tiramasu, a caramel cone and cannoli. We brought the desserts home as we were stuffed from the large portion sandwiches! Large selection of dry pastas and all sorts of Italian delicacies! From canned Italian tomatoes to sausage and salami. Also refrigerated meals and salads to go, can't wait to try them tonight! Wow — Russo’s by the Sea is everything we didn’t know we needed at the Rehoboth outlets! This Italian market and eatery is a total game changer. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warmest smiles and a mouthwatering aroma that lets you know you’re in for something special.

The menu? Absolutely unbeatable. Whether you’re sinking your teeth into one of their meaty, juicy, cheesy cheesesteaks, savoring a slice of their perfectly crisp Mama Pizza, or treating yourself to a chocolate-dipped cannoli (trust me, get two!), every dish is made with care — and you can taste it. Don’t skip the gelato either. It’s smooth, rich, and the perfect sweet finish.

On top of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable — finally, delicious and affordable food in the outlets! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like family, and it’s clear that passion and pride go into everything they do.

I usually come in here a lot, the food is great, but today I’m not sure what was up.

I had came in twice, once for myself and once later to get something for my sister.

Both times the cashier acted like she didn’t want to speak to me, but the second time she said maybe one word even though I was being nice and trying to talk.

However, another person walked in the door the second time i was in there, and began speaking to her and her whole demeanor changed. She was actually talking to this woman and it genuinely made me feel terrible.

I’m not sure if it’s because of my appearance but that’s what it felt like.
