T.J. Maxx — Local services in Contiguous United States

I have never once posted a negative review on Google. However, my experience today was grounds to do so. I was in the store for roughly an hour. The store was clean and I found some pretty good finds, most of the staff members were kind and helpful. Around 9:00 (30 min prior to closing) the store manager came on the intercom telling all customers to begin bringing all items to the front. Around 9:10, the store manager began walking around the store hounding people to bring their purchases forward. There was a man who stepped away from his cart and she was asking everyone whose cart it was so she could demand they stop shopping. I have worked retail myself and I know everyone is exhausted and ready to go home. However, the manner that the manager conducted herself was unprofessional. Then, I witnessed her also speak in a condescending tone to a cashier. Again, I understand the desire to get home. It just seemed that she was in a huge hurry and somewhat panicking to get everyone in line twenty minutes prior to closing. The experience was...

I am a very frequent shopper and this is my observation of the store: The store was very well organized but not anymore! I visited T.J. Maxx in Dover, it has more merchandise and very well organized. The restroom needs more attention and should be sanitized . It needs paper towel and a fan. Overall , most of the associates are very friendly and helpful except a few long face ones.Especially one of the managers i believe as she was giving loud orders , Gina, is not kind and customer friendly. I confronted two incidents of her which were very disrespectful and discriminatory. I raised my review from 3stars to 4 ⭐️ as the store manager made a good choice by promoting Jordan to a coordinator position. He was the nicest person ever and he has a very good customer relations and customer service experience . Good job manager! Cleanliness i can give 3stars, organization 3 stars, some helpful associates 4 stars. Their inventory is not as good as Dover T.J....

I like the free people that Marshalls used fo have but not this year. I feel like there must be a new buyer for marshalls maybe they moved to tjmax . You have to dig but at least when you do you may find some beautiful things that you could also find at Nordstrom or Neimans .I feel like a lot of the great things I found qt Marshalls last few years I see now at tjmaxx . definitely not at Marshalls anymore ,ately seems like you can dig just to find more tacky common regular boring cheap clothing. (Every once in a while if you are lucky you can find something from blank or joes and maybe splendid . Tjmaxx has great bags n some really nice finds but I feel like they are literally surrounded by some really cheap clothes and I hope they are low on inventory bec they just opened. Great...
