Just 4 Kids Urgent Care — Local services in Rexburg

My daughter fell on a toy and cut her chin. She wound up needing 2 stitches. I wish I could remember the name of the nurse or EMT who helped us - he was fantastic. I think our provider was Jake Nelson. They are all so great with kids, and had my daughter smiling and comfortable before she got her stitches. Even during the shot and stitches they were so gentle and so kind with her. They let us know what they were doing and why. They were also very reassuring and helpful for us as her parents. I can tell they are great with parents who might be stressed and frazzled with their child's sickness or injury. This is the 2nd time we've been here for my daughter and both times have been just amazing. After this visit I am motivated to even change my kids primary care over to their Just 4 kids primary care that's almost right next door. I would avoid this place at all costs. My son was sick and struggling to breathe at 8PM so we took him in to this office. They took his temperature, listened to his chest, and gave him a liquid steroid to drink and sent him home telling us to go buy a humidifier. Then I got 2 text messages saying we owed them almost $300. When I called to ask what we could possibly owe them that much for they told me they charge all new patients a higher fee and they billed it out at a higher rate because we hadn’t been there before.

They literally handed him a medicine cup to drink and that was it. I still have yet to get a paper bill in the mail, only a text saying what I owe. I requested an itemized statement because something is not adding up. I have never ever had to pay that much for a sick visit when nothing was done. She told me the only things they billed for was an office visit and the steroid but somehow their office visit costs 5-10x other places. Avoid this place and...

My son is terrified of doctors due to a traumatic hospital stay when he was 10 months old. He is 2.5 now and screams every time he sees someone in scrubs. My son woke up so miserable and sick today andI dressed taking him in because he panics. I cannot tell you how amazing this place is and the staff!! My son screams and fights hysterically when getting checked but the staff was so patient and kind. They gave him time to adjust by handing him stickers, bubbles for distraction and explaining things before they did them really just getting on his level. The doctor was so kind and friendly with my son I was shocked how patient and understanding he was. It means the world to me as a mom to have people be so kind and patient with my sons ptsd of doctors. I would highly recommend this place to anyone the staff goes above and beyond for the kids!!
