Kohl's — Local services in Rhinelander

Recently moved to the area and went shopping here thinking that I would have the same type of merchandise that I was used to seeing at kohls. Boy was I wrong! I feel that the assortment is this store is very limited and basic. If I wanted very basic items, they did have it, but nothing unique or special. I was also looking for baby clothes and I went thru most of the area and found that they had almost no clothes in 12 month size. I found this almost unbelievable, so I did check the whole area and found it to be true (yes, unbelievably weird!). I mentioned it when I checked out and was told that I should understand that it is the christmas shopping season. I agree that I was shopping for christmas already -- but it was only October 26th!! Sizes and assortments should not be that limited and broken 2 months before christmas!!! No wonder people are shopping more...

An older employee while entering an exiting the store cops attitude to people in the store. They also closed there doors 10 minutes prior to closing so quote on quote we don’t have to deal with anyone. I tried to come in the store 15 prior to closing and wasn’t allowed in because the doors were locked. I was yelled at by the older women through the doors who took her mask off to yell at me an my sons-through the doors. My wife tried to come out to get her wallet and wasn’t allowed while being talked to nasty by the older women at the front door. Meanwhile the other women at the cashiers just stand by an watch! As she’s told if you leave the store you can’t come back in! So we left everything we are done with your store horrible employees who take their anger out on others. No wonder kohl’s is going out...

Sonoma women’s shirts no longer 100% cotton- I shop here specifically for the v-neck and crew neck t-shirts because they are not a blend.

Many items on tables that said “priced as marked” yet the items didn’t have price tags.

Was going to buy a small-medium box of chocolates, no price. I thought $20 at most. Cashier scanned and they rang up as $44!!! It was a little embarrassing to have to ask for them to be put back because I’m not paying that much. A situation that could have been avoided had there been prices clearly marked.

Cashier was not very friendly. No greeting, no “have a nice day.”

As they are no longer carrying their 100% cotton shirts, I have no reason to shop here. Everything else is overpriced junk and the employees seem really unhappy...
