The Hodag Store — Local services in Rhinelander

This place is a MUST VISIT if you are in the Rhinelander area! We went out of our way to make sure to find this place. There are historic ties to the legendary Hodag in the Rhinlander area. This place has about every item you can imagine having to do with this historic monster called the "Hodag". Innova disc's for disc golfing, refrigerator magnets, hoodies, T-Shirts, can coozies, stickers, Hodag figures, hats & much much more. I met the owner of the store and he was super awesome at telling me a little history of the store and how his father used to run it as a gas station in the 70's. Super friendly and an awesome atmosphere. I felt like I was in the best theme based gift shop I have ever been in before. You can see the passion they put into this legendary place paying respects to the legendary creature. Always support small business and make sure to check out all of their gift ideas if you can't figure out what to surprise your friends & family with. Just do it!!! They even have an Airbnb next door if you need a place to stay while in the area....

This store is one that represents the heart of the rhinelander community to me. There’s so much local history about the Hodag, and it’s so awesome to see how it brings people together. They have pretty much every type of Hodag memorabilia you could think of. It’s just epic inside and out and such a fun place to shop! As a life long hodag girl, this store is fairly new to me. (I grew up in Rhinelander and raised my kids there as well) But this store is fantastic! My husband had never been to Rhinelander so we stopped for the swag as I now live in a different state. The store had everything you could ever want as a hodag fan. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!!
