I went in to Christensen’s because I needed a pair of socks and didn’t want to go into a larger store like Walmart. I was not greeted, which normally wouldn’t bother me, but it was the dirty looks that the two cashiers (one young, one old crone trying to look 20) gave me that made me instantly uncomfortable. I’m not from severe county, and I am familiar with the brands they carry. I knew it would be expensive going in. That doesn’t bother me. But they were honestly kind of rude and the vibes were not great. Maybe it was because I was in scubs or maybe because I’m plus-sized, I’m not really sure, but the judgment was so thick in the air you could have cut it with a knife. The younger gal was not bad, but the old lady probably needs to retire and let menopause pass because she was clearly not ok OR she is just a miserable person. Only time will tell.
