Usually love this Kroger and come here A LOT as I like it more than walmart and it has a great selection with helplful employees. But tonight (12/19) I had a rather disturbing experience as a man wearing a grey polo shirt and name tag, who I think was the manager, chased me across the store and shouted at me that the store was closing soon. I know I came in a little late as I overslept but I came in before close and was out the door before close⌠The way he standing and shouting at me down the aisle, it startled me and made me feel that I had done something bad. Certainly there had to be a better way to handle that. The thing is, I walked past him earlier in the store and he said nothing to me. There were also other customers in the store and a customer having a conversation with the cashier as I was checking out and these remaining customers were not treated like this or rushed out of the store. I had only come in for a handful of things in preparation for a trip, not a cart full of items. I told him on the way out, as he was menacingly staring at me and waiting at the door for me to leave, that he was rather rude and I did not appreciate his tone/ hassling me as I was a paying customer. He mouthed something else off to me but I didnât hear as I was just ready to leave. Just because you called me âyoung ladyâ does not make your rudeness okay đ I know you want to get home after work trust me Iâve been there done that, but your demeanor was not friendly or professional even in the slightest. Dude didnât even tell me to have a good night or anything just staring daggers at me. If you get off work late or even just need to make a late night run, I wouldnât bother coming here. This interaction with this manager or employee made me feel unwelcome and burdensome. I really donât appreciate being treated like a loitering teenager. I treat people how I want to be treated and I worked in retail for 2 years especially during the holidays so I know the experience and frustration but I would never take it out on others. That being said, way to treat your customers during the holidays :/ respect and kindness go a really long way especially during these times that can be hard for...
Read moreIve been going to this Kroger since it opened and never has it been as bad as it is now. The parking lot is full of trash, employees just walking all over customers without looking or a sorry when they run into you. The employees act like why are people even in here. The managers yell at employees across the store trying to find them, like they're a lost child (unprofessional). I witness management getting on to the deli department several months back reprimanding them in-front of customers which is unprofessional and degrading, that could have waited to have a team meeting in their break-room. She was stating if you have a problem with me donât submit a complaint to my boss come to me with your issue. I see why they did go to her boss, for her to be confronting them in-front of the whole store. Then Ive had an employee complain to me while Iâm checking myself out that she hates being over there but they think she stole money so shes being punished and stuck over here at stupid self checkoutâŚ. The music is so LOUD throughout the store. Itâs unclean and almost all the freezer section doors have stuff growing on them and never wiped down. The freezers have puddles of water around most of them and no wet floor signs or anything trying to soak it up just standing water everywhere. This Kroger has significantly gone...
Read moreUsually I give 5 stars every single time I come to kroger but I live 30 miles away and had a coupon for large shrimp to be $5.77 for up to 3lbs. I ordered online, checked to allow substitutions on every item so in case they were out of that size they could replace it with a different size they had available. I drove all the way back home and had no shrimp AND I WAS MAKING GUMBO, and on my order slip it showed they just elected to not fill my order instead of opting to actually do what their service states they do, which is replacing my item with one of equal or greater value. And I sent my husband inside the store before we left just to verify they were NOT sold out of shrimp by any means and my order could have been substituted with a different size product. I am very disappointed in their performance and it will be a very long time before I spend anymore money with this branch. I will start driving to Brandon to pick up my kroger orders. I also contacted corporate office regarding this matter. If I could have given 0 stars I would have. I spend a lot of money every single week between my husband and me buying groceries but they just lost a $1,000+/mo spending couple thanks to their unwillingness to follow their own policy on substitutions for...
