This location is always behind schedule, the drive through is jammed. If for some reason you need to call and talk to a pharmacist plan on waiting 30 mins or longer. Even inside at the counter it is frequently backed up with long lines. This place needs to hire more staff or open another location because it is very frustrating to do business here. I love the text message notifications, my interactions with the staff have generally been pleasant. If there is an issue with a prescription, that is when their issues really show. Just the other day they could not fill my prescription because they didn't order enough medication. They gave me a few pills to get by for a few days and I was told my prescription would be filled in full the next day. 3 days later, and no prescription still. I asked to tranfer to another pharmacy, but they said that was not possible since they partially filled it. I have had to call and sit on hold 30 mins each night so far. Tonight I called and they let me know that they got my medicine finally, but they forgot to fill my prescription because it was removed from the queue. I would have never known if I didn't call persistently, and it wouldn't have got filled. This has consumed hours of my time, and it is very frustrating, this is not the first time I have had issues like this and nobody there shows any sympathy, no apology, just rudeness. Go elsewhere until they fix their issues unless you can afford to be without your prescriptions for multiple days at a times. I have had these issues every 3 or 4 months, they have caused issues with travel, etc.
It is now 1 month later, and the once again cannot fill my prescription because they didn't order enough. I tried to transfer to another location but they said they can't do that. The doctor has to cancel it, then call it in to the other walgreens in town. Moral of the story is I will go days without medication just because I had it sent to this walgreens. I need to travel tomorrow, hope I get my meds in time....
It is another month later.. my prescription was called in Monday at lunch time. Didn't get filled Monday, no big deal. Tuesday, the pharmacy was just closed for no reason, no explanation. Wednesday they were open, I talked to pharmacist and they said it would be ready by 1pm. I had my wife go pick it up, she waited 30 mins in drive thru with screaming child and they would not fill it because they were out of medication. I called later and they said they could get me a partial fill, they said I need to hurry because they closed in 15 mins. I live very close, made it 5 mins before close. They told me I had to come back tomorrow no matter what and they couldn't fill my prescription tonight. I swear I have never been treated so poorly and been so angry in my life with a business. I meant to change my pharmacy with my doctor but I forgot. I will not forget next time. The one in kennewick on clearwater is much better, and the kennewick one isn't great. Every month there is an issue, last 4 months they were out of meds and could not fill. Lately, I go 3 to 4 days without medication and I spend hours and hours trying to resolve issues every month. Horrible experience last night, I walked into the store to pick up some last minute personal items when I was standing in the aisle and the store clerk/shift manager aggressively approached me and started to pull my basket out of my hands while accusing me of stealing from his store. I can not even put into words how incensed I was at his delusional accusation. My daughter who is military police was with me visiting for the holidays while on leave. I purchased my products all while he yelled at the clerk telling her not to cash me out. He called the police and we waited for him to arrive. He did, we told him what happened he talked to him and he said, oh I thought I saw something suspicious…. I am writing this because I believe Walgreens should have better guidelines when it comes to thinking they see suspicious activity and not trying to pull baskets out of customers hands while yelling at them that they are stealing… when they are not!!! He did not apologize either, I wanted to say lots of mean things but didn’t.. hopefully there are some repercussions for his inappropriate actions. Will never go to this...
Read moreI went there over an hour after my child's doctor sent the Rx there. I waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes, was told there was no Rx ready and nothing in the queue for her and to call the doctor to have it resent. When I called the doctor they said they had confirmation from the pharmacy that it was received an hour and 15 minutes ago. So I called Walgreens, from their parking lot, was on hold for 10 minutes only to be told by the tech that they were super busy, too busy to look for said prescription order so he could not confirm if it was received or not. I explaind that I just needed to know if they had it before the doctors office closed for the day so I could get the babies antibiotics tonight. He said being busy wasn't a good excuse but at this time was not going to be able to look through the entire queue, that he was doing his best and couldn't do any better than that, then hung up on me. If he had given me his name I would be going after his job right now! Absolute worst customer service ever!! I blame the whole company, this is not even close to the first problem with them, but by far the worst customer service I've ever encountered...
