Can I give this store a negative rating? I bought a chair back on Dec 28th, 2017. I had motor trouble in the chair Dec 3rd. I called Dec 4th to see about warranty work because we knew we had a yr warranty. They said they would call back with a date and time for the technician to come. No call back. I call again on Dec 7th. They set up a date for the technicians to come Dec 14th. Still no word on how it is going, I call back. My chair is missing the manufacturer tag serial number. They need to verify my chair and see if tag was over looked. They send they techs back out Dec 19th to look again. I ask them what's going to happen with my chair. Them two gents were the only honest ones about the company and said keep on them and with the holidays coming, "don't expect this to be fixed before then". So, I call back Dec 28th, they put me on hold then do a "We'll have someone call you." Nothing. I call again later that day. Again, they put me on hold then the same, "Well, there isn't much on your file we can discuss until we talk to the manufacturer." Several calls like this to current date. I call, get put on hold, no one can really say what's going to happen, they always say "they will call back". No calls. I call Jan 25th. Now I'm getting fired up. They state because there is no tag, warranty is no good....., BUT, I can pay out of pocket to buy a new motor and assembly thru them! They again stated that they will call back and discuss this further with me. NO CALL. I have bought a lot of furniture over the yrs and told them they need to make this right with me. I call today, Jan 28th, secretary gets snippy. She transfers me to service. They put me on hold for 38 minutes,34 seconds and just disconnected my call. I will never buy anything from them again. Read moreI'm not actually a patron of this establishment. I'm leaving a review in response to something that happened to one of your customers earlier today. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of LulaRoe or not. It's a womens clothing company that is sold by independent retailers. Said retailers have Facebook groups where women come together to not only purchase clothing, but we uplift each other and support each other. On to the review...earlier today a young lady came into your store with her husband to purchase mattresses. They were on their way up to the sales "lady" to inform her of what they wanted. The young girl heard this from the sales "lady" to the "lady" at the counter (customer's own words posted in a group of 165,000+ women's that have her back...yes, 165,000+)... "So Im at a furniture store today wearing my favorite leggings and Randy and feeling pretty. We were looking at mattresses for our kids (so not a cheap trip) we are on our way to the counter to tell the sales lady we want three of the ones we'd picked out when i overhear this conversation between her and the front desk woman. Counter lady: Do you think she thinks she actually looks good in that outfit? Sales lady: I dont know should I ask her? No I better not she might actually buy something from me, Ill be nice. Mid stride I changed directions and walked out the door with a very confused husband behind me. I told him in the truck what Id heard and he was like well she didnt deserve our hard earned money then. Good call. I refuse to allow them to ruin my love of Lula. Its the only thing I feel comfortable in and like I look GOOD. She has no one but herself to blame for that lost commission." Read moreI honestly don't know where to begin with these people. I'll start by saying if you have anywhere else you could possibly go for furniture and appliances you should seriously consider doing so and saving yourself a headache. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at the store in South Williamsport as well as Mansfield and I've never felt so cheated in my life after comparing prices( I could have gotten the same machine from the manufacturer sent right to my home for a fraction of the cost. Next I'll talk about the sales people- will literally tell you whatever it takes to make a sale even if it's a bold faced lie, I say this from three separate personal experiences as well as 50% of the people I know who have bought furniture from them. Don't even get me started on their " same day service". At one point they were two months out from being able to make a delivery 25 minutes away because they didn't have anyone that would show up to work. Finally I'm literally currently sitting on the floor of my home because I was personally GUARANTEED by the manager Cory and sales person Kristine Megivern that I would have my furniture delivered today ( a week and a half from when I purchased it) but when I called because it was getting late they didn't even know what I was talking about even after providing sales receipt and delivery confirmation. Hands down the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had on multiple occasions and I would recommend driving many many hours out of your way to go somewhere...
